  • Pete and Roger both get better with age, that's how it should be!

  • wow..they song old hahaha

  • voice too rough with cigarettes... lol:D

  • i miss u thunder fingers rip entwisle

  • Daltrey and Townshend are so awesome together! their chemistry are not to be found anywhere else! R.I.P keith moon best drummer in the world!

  • I feel bad that I don't have a concert DVD of when Rog was healthy. At this show along with most of the tour, he was unfortunate enough to get bronchitis. 6 months later, while healthy, he was phenomenal. Go look at those vids.

  • I have the DVD from the Calgary show I went to. Roger was great. Unfortunately I have no clue how to chop it up into bits and then load it up on to youtube.

  • i just saw them in DC and roger was freaking amazing. sounded pretty closes to early 70's who

  • wow. horrible comment. love his voice

  • favorite Who song ever.

  • You better you better you bet..oooooooo

    Fuck I love this song

  • Probably my favourite The Who song...tied up there with Who Are You haha. I just listened to three live versions of this same song in teh past minutes.

  • Awesome! Daltrey sounds a bit under the weather though. I know I heard better vocals out of him recently.

  • so good to see this version. just watched one from the tour they did just after the ox died. Not good.

was very sad to see them in pain like that...

  • The is not the who , this is two guys from the who...but give respect where it is due...we are lucky to have this!

  • funny how nobody ever says that about Plant and Page?1?!? These guys have more hits and longer staying power...

  • cause at the end of the day, everyone knows you could still get jpj on stage...so technically most of led zeppelin still exists

  • so two of them died! it's just townshend and daltry that's left, pete looks like an old gramps, but still kickin' it out

  • Its good that you give them some credit, but dude have some respect for the beloved departed.

  • i was at the atlanta show and they rocked the fuckin house. if you've never even heard of the who you would love it. it's amazing how a band could play for 40 years and still be blowing peoples minds like they did in the 60s.

  • (Just as an add to my last post)

I remember going nuts along with the audience for an encore (which they provided :)) and basically clapping for literally (my bro counted) 17 mins. My hands were practically bleeding lol!

  • Go man..You totally won't regret it!

Honestly the greatest night of my life.

  • Yeah, one of my favorite who songs including another tricky day pinball wizard and eminence front. i hope they go on tour again and this time im goin! ahaha

  • i love this song and roger is awesome!

  • I wanna see them live. wow, i just love this song. and roger is awesomee!! :D

  • HAH I was fuckin' there! God..words alone can't describe that night! The Who came to conquer D.C... and they did heheh, LONG LIVE ROCK!

    Thnx for post!

  • Top 5 'Who' song. Fucking awesome

  • this is one of the best who songs

  • A English band showing the Americans what music and rock is all about.

  • I'D KILL FOR ANOTHER TOUR

  • i think they are going to have one

  • ChristianPaul75, ahh that's good news! Hopefully I can see them in the U.S. next year! =)

  • ok lol. that's true.

  • i wish i could go to their concert. but sadly this tour MIGHT be their last =(. god i LOVE this band.

  • I sure hope not,if you see anything of their current europe tour,i think they sounded better than 15 years ago. They have enough energy to go on tour again

  • Afaik Pete already talks about another new album. So there is a good chance they will tour again. They´re definitely not spent yet.

  • When did he talk about it.was it at a show or press released?

  • I think it was a hint at his weblog or homepage. Sorry, but I don´t have a link.

  • Pete mentioned it in a video blog, I don't remember where I got it from, I think it was his old website, not this new written blog.

He said they'll just fall back into writing songs between the tour dates and hopefully release it before next summer.

  • Google "the who tour" and get the offical site and watch the press conference, Pete says around 45 minutes in that a new album will come whenever it comes and he is still writing songs.

  • Typical Pete...I was at both "farewell" concerts

in Toronto in '82 and had the privilege of partying with the band at the Four Seasons Sheraton in T.O. They have always contradicted themselves and will be singing my generation in their wheelchairs...lol

  • best band

  • And also, at 1:30...is what I call the Daltrey Sqawk.

    hehe

  • when i saw them live. at the beginning of this song pete said, "This a song about fucking!". lol awesome the who forever

  • Was it at INDY?

He said it there...and I'm sure other places

  • this is in D.C.

  • awesome version of my favorite song

  • i love the who. sooo much

  • theyre the best
