I feel bad that I don't have a concert DVD of when Rog was healthy. At this show along with most of the tour, he was unfortunate enough to get bronchitis. 6 months later, while healthy, he was phenomenal. Go look at those vids.
I have the DVD from the Calgary show I went to. Roger was great. Unfortunately I have no clue how to chop it up into bits and then load it up on to youtube.
Probably my favourite The Who song...tied up there with Who Are You haha. I just listened to three live versions of this same song in teh past minutes.
i was at the atlanta show and they rocked the fuckin house. if you've never even heard of the who you would love it. it's amazing how a band could play for 40 years and still be blowing peoples minds like they did in the 60s.
I remember going nuts along with the audience for an encore (which they provided :)) and basically clapping for literally (my bro counted) 17 mins. My hands were practically bleeding lol!
Yeah, one of my favorite who songs including another tricky day pinball wizard and eminence front. i hope they go on tour again and this time im goin! ahaha
I sure hope not,if you see anything of their current europe tour,i think they sounded better than 15 years ago. They have enough energy to go on tour again
Google "the who tour" and get the offical site and watch the press conference, Pete says around 45 minutes in that a new album will come whenever it comes and he is still writing songs.
in Toronto in '82 and had the privilege of partying with the band at the Four Seasons Sheraton in T.O. They have always contradicted themselves and will be singing my generation in their wheelchairs...lol
Pete and Roger both get better with age, that's how it should be!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Man Daltry just can't sing anymore. he use to be one of the greatest singers. Maybe he should really pack it in.

Awesome! Daltrey sounds a bit under the weather though. I know I heard better vocals out of him recently.

Afaik Pete already talks about another new album. So there is a good chance they will tour again. They´re definitely not spent yet.
ChristianPaul75 4 years ago
When did he talk about it.was it at a show or press released?
thewho6507 4 years ago
I think it was a hint at his weblog or homepage. Sorry, but I don´t have a link.
ChristianPaul75 4 years ago
Pete mentioned it in a video blog, I don't remember where I got it from, I think it was his old website, not this new written blog.
He said they'll just fall back into writing songs between the tour dates and hopefully release it before next summer.
