stupid reporter at the end acts all surprised that being shot down is not a qualification to be president "REALLY!?" wtf is wrong with the media fawning all over McCain and his irrelevant talking points?
Barack Hussein Obama will be your next President John McCain ios a STUPID OLD FOOL whocrashed 5 airplanes. His wife was/is a dope head (being married to McCain we understand why)
Obama will be the POWER and the LIGHT of America. He will CHANGE this country FOREVER!
Just because he's against gay marriage doesn't mean he is against gays having the same marital rights.
He wants to enforce civil unions/domestic partnerships with all the same rights as marriage.
And I believe many people voted for the Patriot Act before knowing all the right information, and I do know that none of them would vote for it today knowing what the know now.
Lieberman is Lie---man. His face reminds me of Droopy or Granny's loose lipped cunt. These kind of guys provide fertile ground for Hitler kind of crop to grow.
And damn, Wesley Clark is cent per cent right. Lousy pilot want to be commander in chief.
Wesley, don't give in to those manufactured-news anchors.
i just want to say that in the end result most are going to look back on this election and think man i should had been a clinton supporter (good luck to us all)
What's amazing is the guy who believes being shot down in a plane qualifies 1 to be president.
If I recall correctly, McCain lost 5 planes (if not a record, it has to be close & those babies cost millions).
McCain's record for losing planes merely indicates he should've never been a pilot & shouldn't have been even admitted to the Naval Academy based on dada's pull.
I'm a Conservative Republican but I'M NOT EVEN CONSIDERING VOTING FOR LIBERAL LYING FLIP-FLOPPING MCCAIN!
Do you know what would of happened if we listened to Obama ?
We do know, for sure, what would happen if congress passed a bill to give a recovering crack addict a loaded gun. Lieberman's bill, "use all military force necessary to establish peace in the region."
He bucked party values when he flip-flopped on the FISA Bill. It was stupid, but you can't say he always toes the party line. Get your shit together, Rahm.
I served in the Navy during the Vietnam war under the command of Adm. McCain on an attack aircraft carrier which as a sister ship to Sen. McCain's. Based upon Adm. McCain's comments at that time, I doubt that the father would vote for the son for president. I believe it broke Adm. McCain's heart to see his son captured and tortured by the NVA, but I also believe it would have broke his heart to hear some of the speeches that Sen. McCain has made on Iraq.
How come Veracifier didn't use the part where Schieffer said: "Lieberman said Barack Obama is more qualified than Barack Obama"? I thought that was funny.
THanks! Jedreport and others showed a more complete picture of the Clarke exchange. But this, showing that the whole thing came up in response to the Lieberman fearmongering makes things even more clear. This is being twisted so far beyond the original context to manufacture an issue, it's unbelievable!!
john mccain was a terrorist. he was bombing innocent civilians and a power plant in a foreign country when he was captured and imprisoned for his role in a one of the largest terrorist campaigns in history. in fact, he was part of the largest bombing campaign against civilians ever. instead of president maybe he should be sent to vietnam and tried in court for his actions against the people there.
General Eisenhower and General Clark both have the Military experience necessary to be a good Commander in Chief.
John McBush is a low life, slow thinking, mealy mouth, flip floping, dumb ass that flew his aircraft into an enemy missle, against an army that couldn't shoot straight. He spent five yrs. in as a prisoner of war because of it.
"I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification for being president"--- W. Clark--- No disrespect to McCain, but that's true. I respect his service, but it doesn't qualify him as a leader, and this is coming from somebody that would of voted for him in 2000.
I agree. His actions under fire and as a POW speak to his character, which is important. However, they in no way speak to his capabilities with regard to foreign policy or national security policy.
i think job Blabberman might be saying the the American public is fullocrap. it seems like McWanker might die and they will install some other creepazoid or two.
As a matter of fact it seems to have been proven that these leaderzoids don't have to know how to tie their own shoes to be in charge. And that's why many of them wear loafers and have aids. John McCain sounds like an idiot to me, especially for such an old guy. i still think he's the Manchurian Candidate.
i understood that in Viet Nam a great many officers got fragged for their endeavors. It just could be John McCain got shot down by his own people. This would not surprise me at all. For whatever reason in viet nam it was very difficult to figure out who was supposed to be the enemy. Apparently quite often it seemed like the officers were more the enemy then the people who were suppose to be the "official enemy". In wars, the leadership is almost always worse than the enemy.
God these fuckers are so stupid-still talking about "winning" or "losing" in Iraq.....NEITHER IS FUCKING POSSIBLE....and it's so obvious how far from possible it is...
No more giving dumb people credibility. Lieberman is retarded.
Man, fuck siding with the republicans on anything....thats what Ive hated about democrats for the last 8 years-they have done TOO MUCH reaching across the fucking aisle...
we need more than 2 parties, but the republican party shouldn't even BE one of them! It's a party of swindlers, and idiots.
that last bit was classic. Yeah, Barack Obama doesn't have foreign policy experience, the point is, the McCain campaign keeps trying to say that McCain does, yet he has no more than Barack.
And no, being shot down doesn't make you a better presidential candidate. I won't take away his suffering while a prisoner of war, but are we making him president out of pity, or that we owe it to him, or are we trying to elect the best president possible?
"Yeah, Barack Obama doesn't have foreign policy experience, the point is, the McCain campaign keeps trying to say that McCain does, yet he has no more than Barack."
...sure, I guess being on the Senate Armed Services Committee doesnt count in your topsy-turvy crazy Obama world.
You talk about pity???? LMFAO! How about ppl wanting the 1st BLACK president in the US!!!! THAT'S NOT PITY FOR THE BLACK RACE?!?!? You're fucking high my friend
Okay, so if America just wanted to elect a black president out of race & guilt...why did we pick Obama? Why not Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton? Allan Keyes?
He's not the first black man to run for president...if he was weak, he never could have beat Clinton.
We chose him because he's smart, and the best candidate. No one is gonna choose the leader of their country on pity, or guilt...it's not easier to get elected when you're black, it's harder...I'm white..I could care less about race.
as a veteran myself gretchen i have been saying the same thing for the last 8 years.
because mccain was shot down, and was a pow, did not automatically make him qualified to be president.
the "christian"republicans, so short on merit, are trying to bullshit america again.
i have to say, these "christian"republican liars are doing such a disservice when they lie & distort, in order to gain power, they, in my mind, are the furtherest from being both american patriots and christian.
first obama did go against his party by saying it would be stupid to invade iraq; thats what get him famous. second fox/mccain is going mental over clarks comments but he's just saying that having been in a war does not make you and expert on foriegn and miltary policy
McCain was at the bottom of his West Point class. He was allowed to fly not because of his skill, but because of who is father and grampa were. As expected, he crashed 7 planes. One of them was in Vietnam. He was beaten and stabbed when captured, but then given VIP service when they realized who is father and grandfather were.
Now, how in the WORLD is that qualification for being Commander in Chief?
McCain & Obama are the same sh*t different toilet. These roundtable conversations are just to sway the public into believing that there is actually a difference between the two.
Look what Liebermann says " The first bombing happened during clinton " No my man, it happened in NY both times with GUILIANI at fault, it's in his state cut the crap.
This is still somewhat a Republic you Zionist bastard.
Okay...I'm kind of tired of this "they're the same" argument.
Were Bush & Gore the same? Cuz if so, something tells me the last 8 years wpuld have been a LOT different with Gore.
When republicans are in office, we're at war, and broke...when dems are in office, we're flourishing, and at peace....so if they're all the same evil...I STILL support democrats....democrats make people forget how fucked up the government is...and then people take dems for granted cuz of that....
Wesley Clark hit the nail on the head: Getting shot down in a fighter plane is not a qualification to be president.
It certainly evokes some sympathy votes, but it does not change the fact that this former POW offers more of the same failed policies, judgments and values. Furthermore, McCain's temper makes him unfit for the office. Imagine President McCain at the United Nations having an argument with the leaders of France, North Korea and Russia(who arealso hotheads). could start WWII
I support Obama and would be against the Vietnam war id I were born at that time and I think your comment sucks. It is so distasteful. He is a war hero because he was tortured for what he believed in. Please take the Obama stance about talking sense and stay away from all this Washington politics attitude.
halo: there is no evidence for any failures on McCain's part. If you want to be sure to cause Obama to lose, it will be to question McCain's heroism and service to the country. I would rather win the election.
Hold on most of the Republican puppets are questioned Obama's patriotism on a freaking pin, why can we state the truth that McCain was a soldier who followed orders and got captured by a the Vietnamese and that does not qualify him to be president, I wouldn't call him a hero but he will get some respect from my part.
gallo: making any statement that sort of seems fo disrespect McCain's wartime service is not a good idea. Wesley Clark should have been much much more careful in the way he made his statement, even if it is true. It is also possible to make the argument that McCain's character when captured gives him some sort of leadership ("inspirational") credibility. Trying to take away from his heroism will only help him get elected president.
How exactly is this giving him more votes? Clark stated his respect for the guy. And I'm glad an official stated a fact I have being trying to make for months, that just because I soldier who went to war following orders does not really mean that he knows how to run a country, its a fact not an attack.
gallo: It's all over the mainstreamn media, and plenty of seasoned political pundits believe that it simply gives mccain more ammunition to say that Obama is just another politician, willing to besmirch his record of service. He looks noble when he is counterattacking, he can say Obama has never served, etc. Clark makes perfect sense, but it's still a bad idea. (I argue).
McCain in many occasions has stated that being in service is not qualification to be a President, Clark admired his service but stated a fact, yet plenty of McCain supporters are allowed to make up ignorant shit like Obama being a Muslim and you want us to sit here and take stupidity like that??? I mean if Clark would had said anything that was not backed up by facts and it was a lie I would agree with you to let it go, but come on man McCain is attacking back to a non attack.
gallo: The problem is, there is nothing wrong with debating the value of his military record as it relates to whether he would make a good prez. But you're talking about "he was just following orders." That's swiftboating, and it can lose the election for Obama.
Swift boating were lies created by veterans to attack Kerry. What I'm stating are facts, let me ask you can soldiers do as they wish or do they follow orders??? What makes a hero a hero??? If being in the military qualification good to be president why are most countries with military leadership communist or socialist???
gallo: Sorry, guy, I've decided that you're a republican intending to do harm to Obama's campaign. I've made my argument to you and yuou're insisting on doing your thing. So do it without me. Bye bye.
wow???? really republican??? so it your way or the highway huh??? if anything, that sound more republican than anything I have stated. Obama is rejecting Moveondotorg support and Clark comment basically he is dismmising the people who helped him get become the nominee maybe other people are right and its all for votes forget the facts and the reality is just all votes. Check my videos and see how republican I am dumb ass.
He got captured he was tortured on a war he went to because he was drafted into that war not because he chose to join. I respect the guy for taking it all like a man but I would not call him a hero, did he saved anyone?? did he won the war? did he destroy change the world? this is not politics this is reality he was a soldier who followed orders and got captured by the Vietnamese who had less weapons, How is that a qualification to be president? is like electing a lawyer who lost their big case.
gallo: do you have a source for your statement that he was drafted? I never heard that. The reasons for the war, and whether we won or lost the war, have nothing to do with McCain's service. Trying to take away from McCain's wartime service will just get him more votes.
No one is trying to take away his service, but why we can't call it like it is, he did not do anything to become a hero he got computer on his job, he did not manage any part of the war he was just a soldier who got attention, Soldiers in Vietnam and Iraq are saving lives right now and guess what they are not being called heroes. A soldier is trained to follow directions and lead only when they are told to do so watch this video it will give u and example minute 6:00 : /watch?v=F22h5PjACcg
gallo Regardless of what actually happened, there are numerous newspaper articles and appearances from that time that show McCain's situation. It is a heroic story. If you're going to swiftboat McCain, you had better have perfect proof of everything you say. I think it would backfire if you don't. It will make Obama look horrible, "attacking a brave man who suffered terrible physical torment, can't raise his arms up above his shoulders," etc. Obama rightly distanced himself.
last night most news media is actually question if what Clark said made sense (WHICH IT DOES) Obama did not attack, McCain so even if they try to pin that on him we have thousands of more actual lies and ignorants comments made about Obama from McCain supporters to make this FACT provided BY A VETERAN and issue where it should back fire. Obama should not address it but we the supporters can do and say things he cant so let use the FACTS to really show other voters what McCain is all about.
gallo: the mccain campaign will simply paint all obama supporters as agents or surrogates of Obama. It just ends up losing Obama votes. Ron Paul lost plenty of votes because of the attitudes and staements of his supporters. Better not to go on the attack.
You wont change my mind specially when I see t-shirts comparing Obama with OSAMA, or when I get hundreds of e-mails with lies about Obama, or I hear people saying that the only reason they wont vote for Obama is because he is racist!?. Ron Paul supporters used racism and he had a horrible campaign management.
I think it's a good qualification for a retirement home in Florida, but it doesn't make sense to put an old tortured disturbed guy from another wrong war in charge of the entire decision making process for challenges of this era.
McCain doesn't even know how to use a computer, or the price of gas. or his ass from a hole in the ground. he can't even memorize his own ever changing policy and deliver it in a speech.
ummm, Nancy Pelosi when asked didn't even know the price of gas you dumb fuck, YOUR DEMOCRAT LEADER, remember her? she's the bitch that told you jackasses to vote Democrat in the Congress and they'd end the war, LMFAO!!!!!! Hoodwinked you stupid fucking liberal pussies AGAIN! Just like Obama, its so simple, even a racist bigot fool like Obama can do it, HAHAHHAHAH
the ultimate lie of the right is that al queda would be in control of iraq if we weren't there. That's simply ridiculous, they would have been brutally exterminated by the Shia majority.
Exactly. To add on Iran and AlQaeda are on different end of the extremist scale. Iraq collapsed because when these 2 factions and the US fought in a triple-threat war in Iraq.
I think I read somewhere that McCain was shot down twice, is that true? That should double his qualification, right? Just think, one flat on that bus could make him KING!!!
I'm not sure how many times he's been shot down, but I do know that five of the planes he's flown never made it back. I'm pretty sure that's way above average.
I'm sorry, but I love Wes Clark. Who else could get away with saying that? And he was so smooth and so cool it was as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.
Aren't you smelling Veep there? I certainly am, he would be sacrificing no seat of any kind, unlike webb. And Wes Clark is a decorated combat commnander who was shot four times. He was the valedictorian of West Point! His patriotism would appear to be unimpeachable, and he seems a perfect match for a brilliant guy like Obama. McCain has NEVER been described as brilliant, because he isn't. Am I crazy for wanting to select the smartest guys/gals in the room without histories of bad tempers?
moe: I agree he's a tremendously cool guy. But veep is a bad idea, he can do more good for the dem cause from the sidelines. I would rather see Sibelius as his veep.
There is no way the serge is working...The Berlin wall was never an indication that communisms was working....so how can several walled in sections of Baghdad ever indicate a good policy.
We are, the US Government, "The Bush Regime" is paying Sunni insurgents $800,000 a day not to attack U.S. forces..that is just the Sunni.
That like saying the US is winning its Fight on Crime in the US and then paying thieves and killers not to hurt the public.
I love how Obama's people SILL to this day cannot name ONE THING he has done to show ANY type of "leadership" in the US. All they can say is, "well, look at Bush, look at this, look at that...",yeah sure....look at anything and everything EXCEPT Obama right?
They didn't ask him to name one think that shows leadership, they asked for one thing that shows he went up against his party. If he was a republican, I think he would actually have something to go against. But, he's not. He's a democrat, so maybe he's actually agreed with his party that why he hasn't. Common sense. He also crosses party lines, which is the only thing McCain has going for him with regards to going up against his party. He's been with bush, 95%. He fails.
I find it funny that these shows get any random politician and label them an "Obama supporter" despite them knowing anything about the candidate. When they get members of his campaign, Obama is often represented pretty well. There is know secret that some are drawn to Obama because of his character, this is true with any politician. IT is also not uncommon for supporters to not be able to recall every single detail of a person's accomplishments.
(quote yawakoben) "IT is also not uncommon for supporters to not be able to recall every single detail of a person's accomplishments."
...yeah, but it IS uncommon for NO ONE to be able to name ONE SINGLE ACCOMPLISHMENT! ONE, that shouldn't be too hard.
McCain/Feingold bill was to help curtail politicians "cheating" the system to get ahead with money during elections. there's one for McCain, now tell me one for Obama?
The original question concerned whether or not he went against his party in any matter. Obviously people have already pointed that out (if you had been reading instead of simply chastisizing). He went against his party in 2002 when he went voted against the war on Iraq.
always: You have seen all the people at his rallies, haven't you? You saw him win the dem nomination against the political powerhouse of the Clinton team, didn't you? you're aware of his excellent performance in the ill state senate and the u.s. senate, right? you saw him get a book deal at the age of 33, did you not? WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU GOING TO DO WHEN HE IS PRESIDENT? (If he achieves some success with the Israel/Palestinian problem, you'll just deny it, won't you?).
LMFAO! He got a book deal, yeah...and so did 6 guys I know of that served in the Marines with me by the age of 25!! So, Obamas behind THAT curve smartass. Excellent performance in state senate? Yeah, like how his wifes' hospital currently charging UNINSURED MINORITIES 350 TIMES MORE than insured whites? LMFAO! His OWN ppl he's fucking in Chicago, FACT asshat. And btw, he LOST the votes to Clinton by REAL AMERICANS, it took "super delegates", or the NWO to get him to win that nom, BUSTED BITCH!
always: Jeez, what a reply! All those assertions, no credible sources. A weak attempt at a slime job with his wife's hospital's policies toward the uninsured, lol??!!!! That's where you went straight off into hyperspace! All the name-calling, no understanding of the nomination process. Can't help but notice the reference to the NWO - wow! even a bit of conspiracy theory nuttiness. YOU NAVE NO CREDIBILITY WHATSOEVER. YOUR COMMENT DOESN'T COUNT, LOL!!
LMFAO!!!! No credible sources! Google it my friend, and you will see 46,700 references to this hospital doing so....but I guess NONE of them are credible to you right? or course not. but check out the HHS Office of Inspector General.
always: No sale, big guy. More slime. As if Obama can control the policies of his wife's employer, lol!! Don't you guys realize that this sort of stuff simply makes you look as if you have no game whatsoever?? Jeez.
LMFAO!!!! He's the fucking SENATOR of that damn state asshat! HAHAHAHA! So you're going to sit there and tell me that he can't control his wife's hospital, not her boss, since SHE is on the Board of Directors, that makes HER a boss too...So Obama CAN'T control his WIFE OR his STATE and you want to try and tell me that he can "SAVE" and "CONTROL" the US? LMFAO! YOU are the one's with the screwed up logic my friend....
HAHAHAHA You just admitted right there that your candidate cant control SHIT!
always: Wow, you've completely lost your mind, calling names, etc. I suppose you can convince some dummy of your slime attack, but the electorate are just too smart for you. Lol, do you think that people will buy this crap? Seriously, seek help.
wow, no rebuttal against the REAL issue???? Sounds like Obama camp in full force, again, WITHOUT calling names so as to not hurt your feelings, LMFAO, IF BARAK CANNOT CONTROL HIS WIFE AND HIS OWN STATE, WHY SHOULD WE TRUST HIM WITH OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY?????
always: if you really believe the stuff you're saying about the hospital, and you believe that Barack should be able to control what the hospital does, etc., then you shouldn't vote for Obama. Jeez, "can't control his wife." Are you seriously talking about Barack "controlling" Michelle in what she does professionally? Maybe you and I have some very different assumptions about what we want the world to look like, lol. You want a prez who "controls" the country?? I'm not gonna vote for _that_!!
well, aren't you liberals saying that the government NEEDS to control hospitals with Socialized Healthcare?!?!?! are you seriously THAT dumb??? I'm not talking about Barak having to control what his wife does professionally, but when he gets on TV and states that our Healthcare system is broken due to hospitals screwing over the poor and he wants to change that, yet he ALLOWS it to happen in his OWN HOUSE...THAT is a major problem. dont know why you cant see that, are you that ignorant?
always: lol, like I said, your BS can be spotted from a million miles away. Do you really think that you can get people to deal with your stupid accusations? If you don't like Obama, don't vote for him. You've missed the entire point about Obama - he's about hope, optimism and problem-solving, stuff you're not interested in. You should get your depression treated, jeez.
HAHAHA.....you STILL haven't answered any questions....this is too damn funny! LOL, My friends are getting a kick out of watching your non-responses to any REAL questions. Its just like your boy Obama, have fun with him...I hear he loves getting head from fags like yourself and smoking crak with em. you 2 will make a great match
i guess if you consider problem solving dodging the vote and just instead marking "present", which he is the ONLY person in Congress who's ever done that, yeah....i can see the hope and change now, LMFAO
Obamama is telling everyone that we live in the greatest country. He is asking us to help him change it. When your the greatest, there is no where else to go but donw. Change, change, change, is all you here from him. People, we need to start changing the channel and get into reality here.
legendary: Obama is aiming to make improvements in several areas in the U.S. People recognize that our economy is in bad shape, our health care needs to be universal, we need to get out of Iraq. Obama's primary skill, as demonstrated throughout his life, is getting things accomplished - he's basically a strategic pragmatist, it's how he beat Hillary. McCain by contrast is using his war hero story, etc., but his actual performance as an executive would be mediocre at best.
If only you actually knew what goes on in Iraq. Have you even heard of the latest events going on over there. If so, you would think twice about what you just wrote. If you actually listened during the debates, then you might have a clue about who to vote for. Of course, yourself and all of the liberals, are going to listen to what you want to here. Look around you and quit believing everything the CNN is wanting you to hear about this war. Obamama is the worst thing that is going around.
legendary: You seem to be making accusations or questioning what I said, but you don't address any of the issues. The Maliki gov't appears to genuinely want us out of Iraq. By staying there, we may be creating more violence than we are stopping. It appears that the repubs want to stay mostly in order to get the oil concessions. If you want to argue the merits, argue them, quit making stupid statements about me "believing everything."
always: So the question still stands: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WHEN YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE COMES TRUE? THAT IS, WHEN A BLACK AMERICAN WHO HAS COME FROM NOTHING RISES TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY? WHEN A PERSON WITH A PROVEN RECORD OF ACHIEVING HIS GOALS BY USING REALISTIC ASSESSMENTS, PLANNING AND EXECUTION, IS ALLOWED TO GET THINGS DONE FOR AMERICA? You ought to start planning for how you're going to handle it, so that you're able to maintain some degree of calm and stability!
god man, i guess i better keep my hard working white ass in the office, that way I can pay for all you lazy fucking liberals to sit on your asses and bitch about something ELSE that'll come up.
And again, you can stop with the "Proven Record" bullshit, Obama was the ONLY senator who has EVER voted "PRESENT" in sessions, not YES or NO, but fucking PRESENT!?!?! And you call that LEADERSHIP SKILLS? The ONLY thing that man will do is tax, tax, tax, and we'll watch the US crumble more, FACT
always: Lol, we liberals are working our asses off over here, too, to make sure we don't have a repeat of what happens when so-called realistic repubs elect their best candidate!! man, what a disaster! You seem to be confusing voting record with leadership - we're focusing on what is diagnostic of successful personal and professional management in accomplishing goals. The relationship between taxation and economic growth is tenuous, lots of other factors.
now that honestly is one statement I can agree with, slightly....that if I'm paying higher taxes, but earning more pay due to economic growth then it'll "even out". The problem nicholas is I dont think, especially with the way the Dems talk about NOT drilling for our OWN oil, that they can REALLY stimulate STRONG ECONOMIC GROWTH. on the other hand, Im not so sure McCain can either, like I say, I'm unfortunately having to vote for the lesser of 2 evils here :(
always: Look closely, we're in a political process. Obama is selecting his battles and his "adjustments" very carefully. Saying no to drilling is meant to keep his base under control. Investments in limited nuclear, plenty for wind and solar, perhaps limited selective drilling with "special oversight" or something, all might happen under an Obama admin. Obama will strategize and come up with an effective economic stimulus. Obama is younger smarter better, even if he's a conniving pol, lol.
He hasn't really mentioned ANYTHING specific which he will do to help our nation other than "hope" and "change". RHETORIC. BULLSHIT. hilariously the EXACT TYPE of POLITICAL CAMPAIGN that all the other liberals have ran on for the last 40 years since JFK....sure, this campaign is somehow "different" though right? and you STILL didnt answer my question, only sidestepped it, JUST LIKE OBAMA...I see why you like him so much,he's just like you...full of shit with no substance.
always: Lol, do you really think that your blindness is my problem?!! I've answered your qustion up above, gave you good reasons for my beliefs. Your trouble is misanthropy and cynicism, not any particular belief about economic or political systems. Hope, and a wish to try something new, is what offends you, no matter what the hope is for. You think you're being realistic, but if you vote for McCain, you're voting for what hasn't worked, to be managed by someone with poor management skills.
you answered my questions? no you did NOT answer anything about why I should vote for a guy who lies about wanting to help uninsured minorities while his wifes hospital which is in his congressional district charges them 350 TIMES MORE than the avg hospital in the US.
Name me please one thing that McCain has mismanaged? the call for a troop buildup? well, that's WORKING unlike what Barak said. The last 2 months weve had the LOWEST deaths since the war began! Where's THAT media coverage???
Er, I think the whole point of the democratic campaign is to find alternative energies to oil so that we don't have to drill our own, because though you may not want to admit it, we are going to run out of it one day.
Not to mention, it's expensive, and terrible for the environment.
alway: Before you make any further foolish comments, maybe spend more time in the world? reading? Each and every day, CEO's are hired by major corporations. A requirement of a CEO is the ability to lead inspire and manage. Obama has a clear record of being able to deliver all three of these. He knows how to put together a team, knows how to get big egos to sublimate their ambitions for longterm goals. He then assesses, plans and executes. That's what he'll do as the next U.S. president!
Why should it matter if Obama bucks his party, if he agrees with what they're saying?
Also, why IS riding in a fighter plane and being shot down a qualification for president? Surviving those ideals *is heroic* but it doesn't make you RIGHT, or the right person to lead a diverse democratic nation.

He wants to enforce civil unions/domestic partnerships with all the same rights as marriage.
And I believe many people voted for the Patriot Act before knowing all the right information, and I do know that none of them would vote for it today knowing what the know now.

Not voting for gay marriage does mean he is against it. If you vote no on something, anything, that means you are against it.

That does not qualify him to be President.

i understood that in Viet Nam a great many officers got fragged for their endeavors.

When republicans are in office, we're at war, and broke...when dems are in office, we're flourishing, and at peace....so if they're all the same evil...I STILL support democrats....democrats make people forget how fucked up the government is...and then people take dems for granted cuz of that....
zndprophet 3 years ago
Don't look at the candidate, look at the advisers first of all.
2nd, Republicans have traditionally gotten us OUT of wars that DEMOCRATS started. Korean War, Vietnam War, Bosnian War, Somalia.
McCain isn't a real republican, he's a neo-con warhawk like the Bush Admin. They are FAKE Republicans.
By you saying " Democrats are in power, we forget how bad the government is " is wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin.

HaloedG 3 years ago
halo: there is no evidence for any failures on McCain's part. If you want to be sure to cause Obama to lose, it will be to question McCain's heroism and service to the country. I would rather win the election.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
Hold on most of the Republican puppets are questioned Obama's patriotism on a freaking pin, why can we state the truth that McCain was a soldier who followed orders and got captured by a the Vietnamese and that does not qualify him to be president, I wouldn't call him a hero but he will get some respect from my part.
gallomex13 3 years ago
gallo: making any statement that sort of seems fo disrespect McCain's wartime service is not a good idea. Wesley Clark should have been much much more careful in the way he made his statement, even if it is true. It is also possible to make the argument that McCain's character when captured gives him some sort of leadership ("inspirational") credibility. Trying to take away from his heroism will only help him get elected president.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
How exactly is this giving him more votes? Clark stated his respect for the guy. And I'm glad an official stated a fact I have being trying to make for months, that just because I soldier who went to war following orders does not really mean that he knows how to run a country, its a fact not an attack.
gallomex13 3 years ago
gallo: It's all over the mainstreamn media, and plenty of seasoned political pundits believe that it simply gives mccain more ammunition to say that Obama is just another politician, willing to besmirch his record of service. He looks noble when he is counterattacking, he can say Obama has never served, etc. Clark makes perfect sense, but it's still a bad idea. (I argue).
nicholas9999 3 years ago
McCain in many occasions has stated that being in service is not qualification to be a President, Clark admired his service but stated a fact, yet plenty of McCain supporters are allowed to make up ignorant shit like Obama being a Muslim and you want us to sit here and take stupidity like that??? I mean if Clark would had said anything that was not backed up by facts and it was a lie I would agree with you to let it go, but come on man McCain is attacking back to a non attack.
gallomex13 3 years ago
gallo: The problem is, there is nothing wrong with debating the value of his military record as it relates to whether he would make a good prez. But you're talking about "he was just following orders." That's swiftboating, and it can lose the election for Obama.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
Swift boating were lies created by veterans to attack Kerry. What I'm stating are facts, let me ask you can soldiers do as they wish or do they follow orders??? What makes a hero a hero??? If being in the military qualification good to be president why are most countries with military leadership communist or socialist???
gallomex13 3 years ago

wow???? really republican??? so it your way or the highway huh??? if anything, that sound more republican than anything I have stated. Check my videos and see how republican I am dumb ass.
gallomex13 3 years ago
He got captured he was tortured on a war he went to because he was drafted into that war not because he chose to join. I respect the guy for taking it all like a man but I would not call him a hero, did he saved anyone?? did he won the war? did he destroy change the world? this is not politics this is reality he was a soldier who followed orders and got captured by the Vietnamese who had less weapons, How is that a qualification to be president? is like electing a lawyer who lost their big case.
gallomex13 3 years ago
gallo: do you have a source for your statement that he was drafted? I never heard that. The reasons for the war, and whether we won or lost the war, have nothing to do with McCain's service. Trying to take away from McCain's wartime service will just get him more votes.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
No one is trying to take away his service, but why we can't call it like it is, he did not do anything to become a hero he got computer on his job, he did not manage any part of the war he was just a soldier who got attention, Soldiers in Vietnam and Iraq are saving lives right now and guess what they are not being called heroes. A soldier is trained to follow directions and lead only when they are told to do so watch this video it will give u and example minute 6:00 : /watch?v=F22h5PjACcg
gallomex13 3 years ago
gallo Regardless of what actually happened, there are numerous newspaper articles and appearances from that time that show McCain's situation. It is a heroic story. If you're going to swiftboat McCain, you had better have perfect proof of everything you say. I think it would backfire if you don't. It will make Obama look horrible, "attacking a brave man who suffered terrible physical torment, can't raise his arms up above his shoulders," etc. Obama rightly distanced himself.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
last night most news media is actually question if what Clark said made sense (WHICH IT DOES) Obama did not attack, McCain so even if they try to pin that on him we have thousands of more actual lies and ignorants comments made about Obama from McCain supporters to make this FACT provided BY A VETERAN and issue where it should back fire. Obama should not address it but we the supporters can do and say things he cant so let use the FACTS to really show other voters what McCain is all about.
gallomex13 3 years ago
gallo: the mccain campaign will simply paint all obama supporters as agents or surrogates of Obama. It just ends up losing Obama votes. Ron Paul lost plenty of votes because of the attitudes and staements of his supporters. Better not to go on the attack.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
You wont change my mind specially when I see t-shirts comparing Obama with OSAMA, or when I get hundreds of e-mails with lies about Obama, or I hear people saying that the only reason they wont vote for Obama is because he is racist!?. (If he achieves some success with the Israel/Palestinian problem, you'll just deny it, won't you?).
nicholas9999 3 years ago

How much money is Cheney making off the warz in Iraq and Afghanstan?? a kool $1 million a year from Halliburton??
And how many draft deferments did Cheney (The Real President - because Bush is too lazy and clueless) get from the Vietnam war draft??
Ralphdraw3 3 years ago
always: Jeez, what a reply! YOUR COMMENT DOESN'T COUNT, LOL!!
nicholas9999 3 years ago
LMFAO!!!! No credible sources! Google it my friend, and you will see 46,700 references to this hospital doing so....but I guess NONE of them are credible to you right? or course not. but check out the HHS Office of Inspector General.
alwaysending 3 years ago
always: No sale, big guy. More slime. As if Obama can control the policies of his wife's employer, lol!! Don't you guys realize that this sort of stuff simply makes you look as if you have no game whatsoever?? Jeez.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
HAHAHAHA You just admitted right there that your candidate cant control SHIT!
alwaysending 3 years ago
always: Wow, you've completely lost your mind, calling names, etc. I suppose you can convince some dummy of your slime attack, but the electorate are just too smart for you. Lol, do you think that people will buy this crap? Seriously, seek help.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
wow, no rebuttal against the REAL issue???? Sounds like Obama camp in full force, again, WITHOUT calling names so as to not hurt your feelings, LMFAO, IF BARAK CANNOT CONTROL HIS WIFE AND HIS OWN STATE, WHY SHOULD WE TRUST HIM WITH OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY?????
alwaysending 3 years ago
always: if you really believe the stuff you're saying about the hospital, and you believe that Barack should be able to control what the hospital does, etc., then you shouldn't vote for Obama. Jeez, "can't control his wife." Are you seriously talking about Barack "controlling" Michelle in what she does professionally? Maybe you and I have some very different assumptions about what we want the world to look like, lol. You want a prez who "controls" the country?? I'm not gonna vote for _that_!!
nicholas9999 3 years ago
well, aren't you liberals saying that the government NEEDS to control hospitals with Socialized Healthcare?!?!?! are you seriously THAT dumb??? I'm not talking about Barak having to control what his wife does professionally, but when he gets on TV and states that our Healthcare system is broken due to hospitals screwing over the poor and he wants to change that, yet he ALLOWS it to happen in his OWN HOUSE...THAT is a major problem. dont know why you cant see that, are you that ignorant?
alwaysending 3 years ago
always: lol, like I said, your BS can be spotted from a million miles away. Do you really think that you can get people to deal with your stupid accusations? If you don't like Obama, don't vote for him. You've missed the entire point about Obama - he's about hope, optimism and problem-solving, stuff you're not interested in. You should get your depression treated, jeez.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
HAHAHA.....you STILL haven't answered any questions....this is too damn funny! LOL, My friends are getting a kick out of watching your non-responses to any REAL questions. Its just like your boy Obama, have fun with him...I hear he loves getting head from fags like yourself and smoking crak with em. you 2 will make a great match
alwaysending 3 years ago
i guess if you consider problem solving dodging the vote and just instead marking "present", which he is the ONLY person in Congress who's ever done that, yeah....i can see the hope and change now, LMFAO
alwaysending 3 years ago
Obamama is telling everyone that we live in the greatest country. He is asking us to help him change it. When your the greatest, there is no where else to go but donw. Change, change, change, is all you here from him. People, we need to start changing the channel and get into reality here.
legendary9194 3 years ago
legendary: Obama is aiming to make improvements in several areas in the U.S. People recognize that our economy is in bad shape, our health care needs to be universal, we need to get out of Iraq. Obama's primary skill, as demonstrated throughout his life, is getting things accomplished - he's basically a strategic pragmatist, it's how he beat Hillary. McCain by contrast is using his war hero story, etc., but his actual performance as an executive would be mediocre at best.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
If only you actually knew what goes on in Iraq. Have you even heard of the latest events going on over there. If so, you would think twice about what you just wrote. If you actually listened during the debates, then you might have a clue about who to vote for. Of course, yourself and all of the liberals, are going to listen to what you want to here. Look around you and quit believing everything the CNN is wanting you to hear about this war. Obamama is the worst thing that is going around.
legendary9194 3 years ago
legendary: You seem to be making accusations or questioning what I said, but you don't address any of the issues. The Maliki gov't appears to genuinely want us out of Iraq. By staying there, we may be creating more violence than we are stopping. It appears that the repubs want to stay mostly in order to get the oil concessions. If you want to argue the merits, argue them, quit making stupid statements about me "believing everything."
nicholas9999 3 years ago
always: So the question still stands: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WHEN YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE COMES TRUE? THAT IS, WHEN A BLACK AMERICAN WHO HAS COME FROM NOTHING RISES TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY? WHEN A PERSON WITH A PROVEN RECORD OF ACHIEVING HIS GOALS BY USING REALISTIC ASSESSMENTS, PLANNING AND EXECUTION, IS ALLOWED TO GET THINGS DONE FOR AMERICA? You ought to start planning for how you're going to handle it, so that you're able to maintain some degree of calm and stability!
nicholas9999 3 years ago
god man, i guess i better keep my hard working white ass in the office, that way I can pay for all you lazy fucking liberals to sit on your asses and bitch about something ELSE that'll come up.
And again, you can stop with the "Proven Record" bullshit, Obama was the ONLY senator who has EVER voted "PRESENT" in sessions, not YES or NO, but fucking PRESENT!?!?! And you call that LEADERSHIP SKILLS? The ONLY thing that man will do is tax, tax, tax, and we'll watch the US crumble more, FACT
alwaysending 3 years ago
always: Lol, we liberals are working our asses off over here, too, to make sure we don't have a repeat of what happens when so-called realistic repubs elect their best candidate!! man, what a disaster! You seem to be confusing voting record with leadership - we're focusing on what is diagnostic of successful personal and professional management in accomplishing goals. The relationship between taxation and economic growth is tenuous, lots of other factors.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
now that honestly is one statement I can agree with, slightly....that if I'm paying higher taxes, but earning more pay due to economic growth then it'll "even out". The problem nicholas is I dont think, especially with the way the Dems talk about NOT drilling for our OWN oil, that they can REALLY stimulate STRONG ECONOMIC GROWTH. on the other hand, Im not so sure McCain can either, like I say, I'm unfortunately having to vote for the lesser of 2 evils here :(
alwaysending 3 years ago
always: Look closely, we're in a political process. Obama is younger smarter better, even if he's a conniving pol, lol.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
He hasn't really mentioned ANYTHING specific which he will do to help our nation other than "hope" and "change". RHETORIC. BULLSHIT. hilariously the EXACT TYPE of POLITICAL CAMPAIGN that all the other liberals have ran on for the last 40 years since JFK....sure, this campaign is somehow "different" though right? and you STILL didnt answer my question, only sidestepped it, JUST LIKE OBAMA...I see why you like him so much,he's just like you...full of shit with no substance.
alwaysending 3 years ago
always: Lol, do you really think that your blindness is my problem?!! I've answered your qustion up above, gave you good reasons for my beliefs. Your trouble is misanthropy and cynicism, not any particular belief about economic or political systems. Hope, and a wish to try something new, is what offends you, no matter what the hope is for. You think you're being realistic, but if you vote for McCain, you're voting for what hasn't worked, to be managed by someone with poor management skills.
nicholas9999 3 years ago
you answered my questions? no you did NOT answer anything about why I should vote for a guy who lies about wanting to help uninsured minorities while his wifes hospital which is in his congressional district charges them 350 TIMES MORE than the avg hospital in the US.
Name me please one thing that McCain has mismanaged? the call for a troop buildup? well, that's WORKING unlike what Barak said. The last 2 months weve had the LOWEST deaths since the war began! Where's THAT media coverage???
alwaysending 3 years ago
Er, I think the whole point of the democratic campaign is to find alternative energies to oil so that we don't have to drill our own, because though you may not want to admit it, we are going to run out of it one day.
Not to mention, it's expensive, and terrible for the environment.
difsjf 3 years ago
you mean the same law that McCain came under scrutiny for violating? how's that for irony.

alway: Before you make any further foolish comments, maybe spend more time in the world? That's what he'll do as the next U.S. president!
nicholas9999 3 years ago
Really Bob! Getting shot down in a fighter plane is NOT an automatic qualifier for president.
voyzovrezon 3 years ago 5
Why should it matter if Obama bucks his party, if he agrees with what they're saying?
Also, why IS riding in a fighter plane and being shot down a qualification for president? Surviving those ideals *is heroic* but it doesn't make you RIGHT, or the right person to lead a diverse democratic nation.
