As a couch guitarist i was blown away by "One Step"....after researching and listening to him play I am now a big Mike Zito fan...My good buddy owns and runs concerts east here in NJ, I told him about MZ, hopefully someday he will in the northeast region. Cant wait to see him live.. I know he playing in Delaware. Just may to take the ride

  • Great song and video. I had the honor of playing on the same stage as Mike and Johnny Winter last Oct. in Texas and will always remember how kind hearted he was . Thanks.

  • This is an amazing song.. Anders Osborne is ridiculous in this song...Zito is up and coming for sure, but Osborne just shows his versatility in this country/folk/rock tune... little slower than normal for sure... great song all around...

  • Heard this song on Sirius radio a few weeks back by Mike Zito. This version dual combo with song writer,Anders Osborne is impeccably done... Splendid !

  • @edekkinga thats where I first heard it to on coffee house 30,I like the duo version (this one ) better.

  • The chords are pretty straight forward. Fmaj7, C (can add pinkie on high E on 3rd fret) There is also a Am and a G.

Play these chords and you will figure out where they need to go.

    Enjoy

  • Great song...Love the video, amazing voices from these two men...

  • can i bother anyone out there for the chords?

  • Oh yeah thats right, thats my dad(mike)!!!

  • I am now a Zito fan. Great voice, songs and guitar. I ahve the chords to this song but I am trying to figure out the riffs between the verses. Has anyone figured those out? Thanks.

  • Zito Rules! I saw him at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago back in 2001. He was the opening act for Jimmy Thackery. But Zito was the name that night.

    Cheers from Brazil.

  • I met Buddy there back in July of last year. He was sitting right therer at his own bar sippin' a Heineken. I also met Thackery in Charlotte, NC about 12 years ago... I wasn't so impressed. But I do like Mike. I want to see his version of Little Red Corvette.
