I saw something similar last summer..It just came out of nowhere,I mean 3 lights in a triangle formation just like this ignited in clear dark sky and I remember that the distance between these 3 objects was big..It lasted for 4-5 seconds only and then the lights started to fade away one by one(can`t remember what order)..Object were glowing very intensively,stronger than Venus in northern sky..I had a wierd warmth feeling inside me,as if someone who was piloting meant peace

Whether manmade or non-manmade, the objects do appear independently since they do not overshadow the background, but in a flight formation surveillances of whatever that may be underneath them, organisms, geographical or, just on a flight course? I’ve witnessed manmade satellites float across the night sky, but unlike this one.
There was i sighting in Murrieta, and Lake Elsinore CA on January 6, 2011. The coverup story is that it was just skydivers with flares. It was a quick coverup to because the reports don't even match. So far, I have seen 4 different skydiving teams mentioned as doing the jump.
People who are saying this is satellites.. I understand what you are saying. But look at the way they disappear! One disappears in one spot, then the other two that are of equal distance behind both disappear long past the point where the first one did. In fact one of the last two disappears before the other one does. If they were simply crossing in the earths shadow, wouldn't they all disappear in the same spot and not at three vastly different spots?
Wow, dude. WOW ... this is some of the best footage out there of the triplets. These are the NOSS 2-1 satellites. C, D, and E. You can track them at the Heaven's Above website. The first eleven NOSS launches were triplets and these guys are the only ones remaining in tight formation, they are the first launch of the 2nd generation. The 7th launch of the 1st generation might still be in formation but not tight like these ones. Truly spectacular.
A series of orange lights appeared above the Sea of Marmara near the Anatolian coast of Istanbul on November 7, 2010. A triangular formation appears at 03:15 of the video. Not great quality, but amazing experience (wish I had a better camera):
To me it is obviously three satellites in orbit. Objects in orbit move together at the same rate and do not need any special tethers or magnetic linkage to keep them in sync.
I have seen this same thing with others as well.. I even saw them form on one occasion. It started with one craft moving towards a small cluster of stars. One of the 'stars' joined up with it and started moving in sequence. Then, a third craft zips in from a long ways away at great speed and joins the other two, making a triangle formation. They then proceed accross the sky at the same speed as in your video and eventually disappear one at a time. I hold the same beliefs as amdaniels11.
hard to tel if its real but i've seen 2 such lights move just like that and have daytime photos of UFOs. it wlil be disclosed in less than 10 years, i will bet $7 on that. loollllll

I have to say that after a second review, the satellite into the shadows seems to be wrong. Look again, see how they disappear in different parts of the sky and not in order as they should if they were travelling at the same velocity in the same direction. Very interesting footage and I believe you have yourself a clear cut case. Well done.
I can explain. Pretty simple really. They are u.f.o.'s but not really. What I mean is they have been identified but it's to taboo to say it without ridicule. They could also be satellites that fade in the shadows but they are both REAL!!! To figure out which it is, and if you get lucky enough to catch them twice switch your i.r. on and off if they disappear in regular mode but not in i.r. you probably have an E.T. Otherwise it's a sat. Also... Geosync orbit is ALWAYS straight and never turns
actually theres an article in "the sky at night" magazine for march 2010 about them and where to see them, altho they say they are just "aurorae imaging" satellites and not which branch or department they belong to.
as they had hundreds of reports of them to the magazine and amature astronomy websites.
They are however military satellites there are currently in a set of 4 satelites in a pyramid configuration / formation analysing the aurorae the 4th is the top of the pyramid 1000km above the other 3 so may not be visible.
from here in the northen uk they actually look more of a perfect triangle that flies directly overhead,
also due to the summer nights being short they only appear for short periods, but are more visiable in winter months

WOW really good video. i seen this exact thing in ahmeek michigan in the UP back in the summer of 2005. 2 nights in a row we seen this formation in the exact same spot around the same time. we went back a 3rd night around the same time but didnt see them...very cool wonder what they are...satelites? i am vaca. in the UP this summer any 1 kno of any good hot spots to veiw ufos?

Omg...this is why the public doesnt need to film our projects. Okay I will put this in Lamence terms, Since 1992, we developed translucent metal, its a combination of polyuerathane and plastic with stabilized metal covering the outer area making it visible and invisible.

How would a satellite glow like a star has been my question for a while. I could see a shimmer as a possibility,but to look like a star it would need alot of lights or a mirror finish.
satellites are often have silver reflective surfaces to reflect off heat and radiation. I have seen satellites go over in a very clear Australian sky (single dot, not three as in this video :-) and one I have watched/ seen looked just like this.

This is not a Ufo. This is a image of a stealth bomber. We have been testing them at night over cities on new missions just in case of a terrorist attack. You need to stop posting this as a "UFO" and get the right facts!

If this is really a stealth bomber, can you please elaborate on how the military somehow invented a way to make them invisible? Do they now have out of phase body armor.
stealth bomber my arse!! These are either NOSS satellites, a UFO or new orbital weapons platform or space capable war bird. If USA was testing covertly they'd be crazy to fly over SE Michigan. If it's alien probe then they appear zero worried about getting spotted, as they are gradually revealin themselves to us scared rabbits down here on Earth - they are probably exposing their probes gradually to avoid mass panic. I think military have chased these probes many times & just can't catch em.
@MrDreksler we don't have translucent aircraft. It's almost certainly 3 craft in formation. Maybe it was three stealths? I doubt we'd send bombers in formation like that, but we have several types of craft that can go stealth.
Stealth Bomber "Stealth" doesn't mean it is literally invisible and cannot be seen by the Naked eye " they called it stealth because it is invisible from enemies radar. Nice image, but im no expert, but this reminds me of the new upgrade to Hubble telescope, where 3 satelites line up in a triangle to take images at three differnt angles to give a clearer picture, just my thought, ALTHOUGH!!! this group of satelites is not to be in space for a few more year, so who knows
oh and i think the reason it appears to vanish is becoz as it comes around the earth the sunlight is blocked out by the earth, if you'd kept following a target path it probs would of reappeared
Your lucky, I haven't saw what I would most certainly classify as a UFO in a couple of years. The last one I saw for certain was in the middle of the day time it looked like a ball of fire hovering still over the tree lines.
I have seen these formations also in Holland but with 2 light objects, and after reading a comment below and investigate that info further it indeed could be a NOSS satellite. I may have seen some ufo's in the past , no not balloons/planes etc..I know most flying objects very well, but this one could be solved for me now. Anyway very nice video.
You can find their website easily. They will send a local investigator out to interview you and view the footage. I have seen similar things like that here in Mid-Michigan...on several occasions.
Nice catch! They could be the NOSS satellites, they travel in threes and in this formation, they also travel in pairs. The reason they appear to disappear is because they are entering the earths shadow. Or it could be three ufos.

Hi @jcattera, my ex: Airforce mate quizzed Norad guys and they came back with the following idea:
"Hi Andrew, Talked to a couple of mates in the USA and they said the three points on the infra-red could've been the solar sails being picked up but are pretty sure it was a satellite within the area and time frame.....nothing else said or implied....:))"
...I am still going with my gut on this, looks alien an magnetically linked objects....I have viewed this 20 times and there are no obvious linkages joining these objects - so hard to know how a thin-linking join might would mask the stars as it would obscure stars whilst gliding in front of them ...wish I knew how to analyse IR images !! @amdaniels11 - I have a feeling they are "cloaked craft" just like the weird circular cloud formations being seen all over the world lately. I've never seen clouds form like that before and clouds just don't form like that out of nowhwere.
@amdaniels11 - I believe the IR camera is picking up the heat signature given off the thrusters underneath the "cloaked craft". It appears they're 3 thrusters being used that are constantly (idle) on. They glow in different brightness depending on what position of the craft is needed to be in.

I met up with my ex: Aiforce Norad friend today who used to position satellites for a living...the look on his face watching your video was one of extreme interest...he didn't think this was a satellite. His exact words: "if I e-mail this to the guys at Norad, I will probably get an e-mail back sayin for me to "just drop it - move off this topic " no kidding.

@Amdaniels11, thanks for asking and posting Caltech's response. I do have several "double object" video captures that I haven't posted yet. They track the same way as this "triple object" video. I wasn't sure if I should bother posting them or not. I agree on you point of the IR spectrum and how the light we see would be different. It is very plausible that these could be tracking beacons for surverying for an upcoming event. That's why I keep telling people to prepare for food and water etc.

ALSO .... IF these dots are separte satellites and are in LEO (low Earth) orbit eg. typically 300 1000 km, then through simple scaling, JUST ONE of these dots should be a "LOT" bigger than that plane scooting past :-) (barring atmospheric and other myriad/ possible variations)
CONTD... I guess if the object was NOT metal or was a glass/ metallic mirror finish like satellite (ie. A poor heat retainer or very reflective), then the sun's heat from say 200 degrees C down to zero C in IR SPECTRUM-TERMS would be quick...
I thought about the sun shadow aspect you have logically mentioned and then it dawned on me ~ this footage is videoed with an ***Infra Red*** scope - not visual light scope!! The sun's reflection is in light spectrum and "switch-off" would be instantaneous - agreed, but and ***IR*** reflection would continue to show up if the object was being warmed by the sun and fade-out MORE gradually than in the video ~ surely??

Hello my new friend! Thanks for stopping by. I think this object was in space just orbiting our planet. The velocity of the objects was constant, and the 3 lights faded out at the end of the video. I'm still trying to capture this triangle formation with changing speeds. I've seen it before, but I was not able to get the video recording equip. out fast enough. I look forward to sharing more of these videos. Plus, the more people looking, the better our chances of capturing them and sharing. :)

I was at first skeptical and thought it was just the ISS orbiting but after looking at the path of the ISS, it was clearly not it. Plus, I find it very strange that 3 satellites would be that close in proximity with each other. Another observation was the way all 3 objects faded out. Take a look at the order of how they faded out. It's really strange. It's near the end of the video. Thanks again.

I have seen a lot of videos on UFO's and only a couple "instinctually strike me as true/ real" looking - this is one of them ~ it's got me interested too. Think you probably captured a 'live one' :-) I saw a normal satellite over Sydney last night, they track FLAT against the sky, but your object had a DIFFERENT look - like it was climbing SLIGHTLY as it tracked?
...contd I'll ALSO send it on to a Harrier fighter pilot instructor in the UK to see if his finely trained eyes can spot any pitch/ climb - very hard to say of course with all the angles involved...if it is fake then I reckon you could qualify to become new CEO of Industrial Light & Magic ;-) ...just jokies, I trust ya :-)
Yes, I caudht this footage with an infra-red camera. I couldn't see the 3 lights with my eyes. I had to repost this from a friend that left me a comment, as I feel this way too..."It sure looks like some kind of cloaking device on: another possibility is that the reason we cant see the object is because in this dimension the material that is made of, it does not reflect nor deflect the visual light spectrum our eyes register (out of phase with this dimension to sort of speak)."

where in michigan did you see these lights? i seen the exact same thing about 8 years back...we were at a lake in the U.P. of mich...we seen the same lights 2 nights in a row, and i have never seen any thing like that since. very strange video. very earie. im pretty sure satelites travel in 3's one difference about what i seen was they never disapeared. they just flew across the sky for about 10 minutes then went over the horizon.
I captured this video on the East side of Michigan. I'm just North of Chesterfield Twp. I've captured tons of videos of single ones and doubles, but I'm waiting to post something really amazing.
I have to say that they do look and act like satellites. However, even IF they are satellites, to capture three of them in triangle formation is still impressive. I've only ever seen one satellite at a time. So be they UFOs or be they satellites, great job getting them on video like this!
Great vid, they may have been eclipse by the earth's shadow when they "disappeared". I've seen the ISS "disappear" into the earth's shadow. Keep looking up.
I've seen satellites that close before, thought not necessarily in that "perfect triangle" formation. I would double check the Heavens Above website for that date. If you're not near a pc at the time, wait for 1.5 hr. and see if the 3 come back around, in a little bit different formation.

Since there are 9000+ satellites circling around the earth at the moment it's not so special to see more than one at the same time going in the same direction.
So if you've looked into it , can you tell me the names of these satellites and their function? Why would they need three so close together ? Technically they are UFO's even if they are satellites or colostomy bags from the space station, I can't identify them as such . I've seen seven of these so called 'satillites' in formation years ago. Speculate all you want on that one.

3 different ships not one big triangle they are in a formation of some kind at 1.06 of the video it passes by a star and you can see the star, unless this is a see through ship it is 3 separate ship's /fallen angels/our own craft.

Well, not really sure, but I know they're not satellites or the International Space Station. I have a feeling they're ET spacecraft either watching over us or sizing us up for something big. I even checked to see if it was Hubble and nothing was supposed to be in this area. Plus, I confirmed that satellities don't fly this close together.

Whether manmade or non-manmade, the objects do appear independently since they do not overshadow the background, but in a flight formation surveillances of whatever that may be underneath them, organisms, geographical or, just on a flight course? I’ve witnessed manmade satellites float across the night sky, but unlike this one.

There was i sighting in Murrieta, and Lake Elsinore CA on January 6, 2011. The coverup story is that it was just skydivers with flares. It was a quick coverup to because the reports don't even match. So far, I have seen 4 different skydiving teams mentioned as doing the jump.

People who are saying this is satellites.. I understand what you are saying. But look at the way they disappear! One disappears in one spot, then the other two that are of equal distance behind both disappear long past the point where the first one did. In fact one of the last two disappears before the other one does. If they were simply crossing in the earths shadow, wouldn't they all disappear in the same spot and not at three vastly different spots?

Wow, dude. WOW ... this is some of the best footage out there of the triplets. These are the NOSS 2-1 satellites. C, D, and E. You can track them at the Heaven's Above website. The first eleven NOSS launches were triplets and these guys are the only ones remaining in tight formation, they are the first launch of the 2nd generation. The 7th launch of the 1st generation might still be in formation but not tight like these ones. Truly spectacular.

To me it is obviously three satellites in orbit. Objects in orbit move together at the same rate and do not need any special tethers or magnetic linkage to keep them in sync.

I have seen this same thing with others as well.. I even saw them form on one occasion. It started with one craft moving towards a small cluster of stars. One of the 'stars' joined up with it and started moving in sequence. Then, a third craft zips in from a long ways away at great speed and joins the other two, making a triangle formation. They then proceed accross the sky at the same speed as in your video and eventually disappear one at a time. I hold the same beliefs as amdaniels11.

I have to say that after a second review, the satellite into the shadows seems to be wrong. Look again, see how they disappear in different parts of the sky and not in order as they should if they were travelling at the same velocity in the same direction. Very interesting footage and I believe you have yourself a clear cut case. Well done.

I can explain. Pretty simple really. They are u.f.o.'s but not really. What I mean is they have been identified but it's to taboo to say it without ridicule. They could also be satellites that fade in the shadows but they are both REAL!!! To figure out which it is, and if you get lucky enough to catch them twice switch your i.r. on and off if they disappear in regular mode but not in i.r. you probably have an E.T. Otherwise it's a sat. Also... Geosync orbit is ALWAYS straight and never turns

actually theres an article in "the sky at night" magazine for march 2010 about them and where to see them, altho they say they are just "aurorae imaging" satellites and not which branch or department they belong to.
as they had hundreds of reports of them to the magazine and amature astronomy websites.
but deffo not ufo's :)

What your seeing isnt a UFO
They are however military satellites there are currently in a set of 4 satelites in a pyramid configuration / formation analysing the aurorae the 4th is the top of the pyramid 1000km above the other 3 so may not be visible.
from here in the northen uk they actually look more of a perfect triangle that flies directly overhead,
also due to the summer nights being short they only appear for short periods, but are more visiable in winter months

WOW really good video. i seen this exact thing in ahmeek michigan in the UP back in the summer of 2005. 2 nights in a row we seen this formation in the exact same spot around the same time. we went back a 3rd night around the same time but didnt see them...very cool wonder what they are...satelites? i am vaca. in the UP this summer any 1 kno of any good hot spots to veiw ufos?

The reason the crafts lights go out is because on the bottom of the bomber there are tiny cameras that are taking photos and if one them spots a camera shooting it, that sends a signal to the main computer and the lights shut off.

satellites are often have silver reflective surfaces to reflect off heat and radiation. I have seen satellites go over in a very clear Australian sky (single dot, not three as in this video :-) and one I have watched/ seen looked just like this.

stealth bomber my arse!! These are either NOSS satellites, a UFO or new orbital weapons platform or space capable war bird. If USA was testing covertly they'd be crazy to fly over SE Michigan. If it's alien probe then they appear zero worried about getting spotted, as they are gradually revealin themselves to us scared rabbits down here on Earth - they are probably exposing their probes gradually to avoid mass panic. @MrDreksler we don't have translucent aircraft. It's almost certainly 3 craft in formation. Maybe it was three stealths? I doubt we'd send bombers in formation like that, but we have several types of craft that can go stealth.

Stealth Bomber "Stealth" doesn't mean it is literally invisible and cannot be seen by the Naked eye " they called it stealth because it is invisible from enemies radar. Nice image, but im no expert, but this reminds me of the new upgrade to Hubble telescope, where 3 satelites line up in a triangle to take images at three differnt angles to give a clearer picture, just my thought, ALTHOUGH!!! this group of satelites is not to be in space for a few more year, so who knows
oh and i think the reason it appears to vanish is becoz as it comes around the earth the sunlight is blocked out by the earth, if you'd kept following a target path it probs would of reappeared

Your lucky, I haven't saw what I would most certainly classify as a UFO in a couple of years. The last one I saw for certain was in the middle of the day time it looked like a ball of fire hovering still over the tree lines.

I have seen these formations also in Holland but with 2 light objects, and after reading a comment below and investigate that info further it indeed could be a NOSS satellite. I may have seen some ufo's in the past , no not balloons/planes etc..I know most flying objects very well, but this one could be solved for me now. Anyway very nice video.

Make a copy of this and contact MUFON.
You can find their website easily. They will send a local investigator out to interview you and view the footage. I have seen similar things like that here in Mid-Michigan...on several occasions.

Nice catch! They could be the NOSS satellites, they travel in threes and in this formation, they also travel in pairs. The reason they appear to disappear is because they are entering the earths shadow. Or it could be three ufos.

...I am still going with my gut on this, looks alien an magnetically linked objects....I have viewed this 20 times and there are no obvious linkages joining these objects - so hard to know how a thin-linking join might would mask the stars as it would obscure stars whilst gliding in front of them ...wish I knew how to analyse IR images !! @amdaniels11 - I believe the IR camera is picking up the heat signature given off the thrusters underneath the "cloaked craft". It appears they're 3 thrusters being used that are constantly (idle) on. They glow in different brightness depending on what position of the craft is needed to be in.

I wasn't sure if I should bother posting them or not. I agree on you point of the IR spectrum and how the light we see would be different. It is very plausible that these could be tracking beacons for surverying for an upcoming event. That's why I keep telling people to prepare for food and water etc.

ALSO .... IF these dots are separte satellites and are in LEO (low Earth) orbit eg. typically 300 1000 km, then through simple scaling, JUST ONE of these dots should be a "LOT" bigger than that plane scooting past :-) (barring atmospheric and other myriad/ possible variations)

I thought about the sun shadow aspect you have logically mentioned and then it dawned on me ~ this footage is videoed with an ***Infra Red*** scope - not visual light scope!! The sun's reflection is in light spectrum and "switch-off" would be instantaneous - agreed, but and ***IR*** reflection would continue to show up if the object was being warmed by the sun and fade-out MORE gradually than in the video ~ surely??

Hello my new friend! Thanks for stopping by. I think this object was in space just orbiting our planet. The velocity of the objects was constant, and the 3 lights faded out at the end of the video. I'm still trying to capture this triangle formation with changing speeds. I've seen it before, but I was not able to get the video recording equip. out fast enough. I look forward to sharing more of these videos. Plus, the more people looking, the better our chances of capturing them and sharing. :)

thanks for your thoughts on it seeming to be space-bound, it does have an 'orbital look' like a satellite, could be a covert defense satellite platform :-) Still blows me a away that u could only sight with IR, not visually. If you want to report it to Norad I can get you a contact there to lodge through an RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) contact I know well who has worked at Cheyenne Mtn on exchange in defense comms for 20-yrs. I was at first skeptical and thought it was just the ISS orbiting but after looking at the path of the ISS, it was clearly not it. Plus, I find it very strange that 3 satellites would be that close in proximity with each other. Another observation was the way all 3 objects faded out. Take a look at the order of how they faded out. It's really strange. It's near the end of the video. Thanks again.

I have seen a lot of videos on UFO's and only a couple "instinctually strike me as true/ real" looking - this is one of them ~ it's got me interested too. Think you probably captured a 'live one' :-) I saw a normal satellite over Sydney last night, they track FLAT against the sky, but your object had a DIFFERENT look - like it was climbing SLIGHTLY as it tracked?

Yes, I caudht this footage with an infra-red camera. I couldn't see the 3 lights with my eyes. I had to repost this from a friend that left me a comment, as I feel this way too..."It sure looks like some kind of cloaking device on: another possibility is that the reason we cant see the object is because in this dimension the material that is made of, it does not reflect nor deflect the visual light spectrum our eyes register (out of phase with this dimension to sort of speak)."

where in michigan did you see these lights? i seen the exact same thing about 8 years back...we were at a lake in the U.P. of mich...we seen the same lights 2 nights in a row, and i have never seen any thing like that since. very strange video. very earie. im pretty sure satelites travel in 3's one difference about what i seen was they never disapeared. they just flew across the sky for about 10 minutes then went over the horizon.

I have to say that they do look and act like satellites. However, even IF they are satellites, to capture three of them in triangle formation is still impressive. I've only ever seen one satellite at a time. So be they UFOs or be they satellites, great job getting them on video like this!

Great vid, they may have been eclipse by the earth's shadow when they "disappeared". I've seen the ISS "disappear" into the earth's shadow. Keep looking up.

I've seen satellites that close before, thought not necessarily in that "perfect triangle" formation. I would double check the Heavens Above website for that date. If you're not near a pc at the time, wait for 1.5 hr. and see if the 3 come back around, in a little bit different formation.

So if you've looked into it , can you tell me the names of these satellites and their function? Why would they need three so close together ? Technically they are UFO's even if they are satellites or colostomy bags from the space station, I can't identify them as such . I've seen seven of these so called 'satillites' in formation years ago. Speculate all you want on that one.

Those are just satellites reflecting the light of the sun. The reason that they disappear is because they enter the shadow side of the earth.

3 different ships not one big triangle they are in a formation of some kind at 1.06 of the video it passes by a star and you can see the star, unless this is a see through ship it is 3 separate ship's /fallen angels/our own craft.
I also believe that not all aliens/angels/our own craft are good and mean us no harm and OH YES THE BIBLE IS TRUE. If you want the truth check out: return of the Nephilim Chuck Missler just be prepared to have your mind fried.

Well, not really sure, but I know they're not satellites or the International Space Station. I have a feeling they're ET spacecraft either watching over us or sizing us up for something big. I even checked to see if it was Hubble and nothing was supposed to be in this area. Plus, I confirmed that satellities don't fly this close together.
