Ah.. Frank rocks. My favorite Zappa story (similar to the Nazi salute story earlier in the comments) is the show where Zappa 7 The Mothers played a wall of ear shattering noise. Gradually, members of the audience started to leave. After about an hour, 1/2 the crowd were gone. FZ halted the aural assault, and went to the mic and said, "Now that all the assholes are gone, let's play some rock 'n' roll" and launched into a classic set. FZ rocks.
