  • lets hope they reform one day

  • Sometimes I wish I were born right... Now.

  • @lifepod2036 VERY well said, mate.

  • Oh you've got green eyes, oh you've got blue eye's oh you've got grey eye's. I love New Order but I miss Ian immenesly. RIP Ian. We still love you always and forever.

  • yeah new order shit all over U2..totally..

  • tan llena de vitalidad como en los 80's... VIVA NEW ORDER !!!!

  • I don't want to sound like a broken record.. But I'm drunk right now. the 80s is now 3 decades ago but it went by so fucking fast. These guys are in their 50s now. they said life would go by fast but the first 20 years of your life goes by so slow. Your metabalism slows down and "time" speeds up. Or the shifting into destiny starts to excelerate. If you're in your 20s, do as much as you can. Enjoy your life now. 2030 will be here sooner than you think. 2040 will follow soon after. -Peace out

  • Bono is in the Top 10 list of assholes alive.

  • No fajne i TYLE ;)

  • Atmospheric music with dark lyrics, Up down turn around has to be describing hanging, It makes sence to me...

  • That is an awesome video and version. I did a different version on my keyboard awhile back.

  • And then musically...I promise you, New Order will be remembered musically far, far longer than Bonio's outfit.

  • bonio is a dog biscuit!

  • Bonio is a self glorifying little twonk.

This is genius from (on the whole) honest, genuine people.

  • Where the streets have no name comes no where near to this classic. One of New Order's best if not their best!!!

  • Bono is great.

    But...

he does steal quite a bit from other songs.

Most musicians "borrow", but only some admit it.

  • YOu cant compare this song with Where the Streets Have no name. Temptation is my all-time favorite song and it's way better.

As a matter of fact, also comparing U2 with New Order is such an heresy :)

    Cheers!

  • @xmarek28 - Get real. Many people who were former U2 fans, then started to like New Order. Put yourself back in the late 80's. Alternative music was just starting to break through to the mainstream. U2 was already mainstream by that point. The fact is a lot of people were making the switch. A huge number of North Americans were giving up the mainstream for this new "alternative" music (a lot of which had already broken through to radio in the UK years before.) That doesn't mean you hate

  • @xmarek28 - That doesn't mean you hate all that stuff that you used to like before you made the switch. It's possible for one person to have really been into U2, then a couple years into New Order or anything else. That was one of the most vibrant times in music - the late 80's / early 90's. And yes, both U2 and New Order were a part of it. For some it was a gradual change from U2ish stuff to other music, for others they kept listening to U2 while bringing in the new, and others

  • @xmarek28 - and others it was just plain old U2 mainstream stuff or possibly just alternative, without even paying attention to the mainstream. But come on... We're just talking about what was happening in English-language "pop" (in its broadest sense) music. To most of the world, there's not much difference between the 2 bands. They're full of white guys that sing in English, from the same area of the world, singing to a similar age-range, from the same time-frame, who tour and make albums.

  • This song came out far before U2 even thought of that song. Piss off.

  • fuck yes. be great if they had a video w the mix from their singles collect tho with that big tom drivin it

  • How could the gutitar line be stolen?

This song came out in 1980 and "Where the Streets Have No Name" came out in 1987.

Are you saying that Bono and the Edge are physic ??? WOW ! That explains alot. =/

  • Actually, I have all versions of Temptation and it was only THIS version that uses the same guitar line as "Where The Streets Have No Name".

  • @djlgr1 or time-travel

  • "blatntly stolen??" :)

    ahh,,yes children.

  • yeah dont be a tossbag check things over before you be all cool on youtube

  • even if they had stolen it (which they obviously didn't) it's still a better song than where the streets have no name.

  • ...sigNIFicantly better.

  • @Diamondblade2008

    haha fkn loser

  • My favourite New Order song. I first heard this song in a 80's movie called ' Wild Thing ' when a white convertable corvette drives past with this song coming from the stereo. Took me years to find out that New Order wrote and sang it.

  • amazing......... a melhor versão ao vivo !!!!!

  • I still remember my euphoria in the middle of this crowd when this song started. Just fabulous. The best of one of Britain's best.

  • the best version.

  • Classic doesn't do that song justice. No matter how many times I hear it, it still feels new. Love it. Thanks.

  • I can't imagine going to college without New Order and Joy Division. It would have made getting that bachelors in 9 years all the more difficult. Bury me with New Order Substance and Bob Marley Legend. That's good enough for eternity.

  • great music from a great band

  • it's available on a cd bonus of some releases of the boxet "Retro"

  • poo

  • easily the best new order song, reminds me of many people,robinsonx2,baker,gus,tim,

  • One of the greatest songs ever!

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • Looks like Stephen Morris is enjoying himself back there. Great vid!

  • this sounds better than the original =)
