@LeNadeau1 Are you saying that the vikings were of African decent? Where did you gather this information? From what I've read, the modern day Norwegians, Swedes, Icelandic, Finns and Danes are genetically linked to the vikings from Scandinavia.

The vikings travelled far south, but from what I've heard, they never travelled further than northern Africa and Turkey, or Miklagard, as Istanbul was called during those days.

@onlyfood fair enough. but i hope you know brethren means historic battle or carnage and odin was the god who was the aggrevator of war and archaic chaos. He had many sons, three of which are Thor, Baldr and Vali who were of Thunder, Growth and Murder. All were demoted to 'homonous' status in the Odin War. (due to them becoming to powerful) or so the poems go anyway.

@METALFREAK03 No offense meant at all. But Brethren in the English language is kind of a synonym to 'Kin', thus referring to brothers and/or sisters. Also, Baldr is the God of all that is good in this world, not just growth. Odin was the God of war, that is correct, but he has nothing to do with Chaos. Loki, however, can be considered the God of Chaos and Evil. Vali can be considered as the God of Murder, I guess. But what he actually did was avenge the death of Baldr. Sorry if this annoyed you.
