Is this guy seriously arguing that if one cannot pronounce Arabic words that they shouldn't discuss the merits of the Quran vis a vis a certain idea? Give me a break. It's one thing to have an understanding of the Quran and another thing to be able to pronounce Arabic words. Most Muslims are Non Arabs. For people of certain linguistic backgrounds, it's hard to pronounce phonetics of a language that is not of their region. The Catholic Church made the same mistake and look what happened to it.
@popcan4u its more of a keep your priorities in order reading arabic or learning arabic should be seen as an obligation. Also dont present yourself as a super knowledgable person and you dont read the Qur'an. but you should always give your brother the benefit of the doubt and dont over react
Our first need is the 'aqeedah even though we may not be able to pronounce alphabets in the right way inshaa-allaah we will study them but we will never compromise in the 'aqeedah. May Allaah guide all of us!
