i 100% it on expert. you have to get used to the pattern. once you get used to it it's real easy.

You know you don't have to strum for hammer ons and hammer offs if you play the note before the string of hammers. say o represents a normal note and O represents a hammer on/off

o O O O O O O O <- you only have to strum the o correctly

o O O o O O o O O <- strum the first o and the second and the third, and the rest you just have to press the frets correctly and it counts as a correctly played note. It saves a lot of mistakes if you do it that way. Play the tutorial it helped me a lot!

i couldnt fit the rest but yeah - u strum up and down faster and faster, you probably already know this..... but u know im just trying to help out. i had alot of trouble with hammer-ons but i got it now, it makes the game more enjoyable and fun. it also feels good (at least to me) to hit them. I can tell u more about the game on a messege later if u need 2. if u want to know more, i do a cheat that is hyper speed, its not like a cheat, well they allow it in tournaments and crap its hyper speed.

o yeah the hammer-ons glow so when u see em coming up you have to strum once to start it. strum once then fret it (just press the buttons) you can then play with one hand. its hard to get use 2, it took me a while but i got good now... hope my comments help.. good luck... i sent u a friend request on xbox live, my name is

I went through all Gh2 guessing if their hammer-ons or not, my friend told me and i had your reaction. You get what i mean right? for example at 3:30 at the solo the top of the buttons are glowing like white on top. but at lets say,3:33 thoes buttons just got a little white on top. and you know the strum bar where u hit it with your thumb, well it will help if u grab it with your index and thumb

No Laid To Rest is one of the last songs, in the second to last set of songs you have to play I believe. It is a hell of a fun song but it's on Guitar Hero II not part III unfortunately. If you can't play on expert yet, just unlock it through medium or hard (whichever difficulty suits you better) and just play it on expert on quick play or on training. There is one section that is like hammer-on's and pull-off's for like a full minute or so.

for hammer-on tips know this. that u can be late on hammer-ons and it doesnt matter like if u hold the button down a bit early it wont matter also if theres a hammer-on that is on a lower not (ex green) and theres like green red yellow and it repeats u can just hold down green and tap red and yellow. hope it helps!
