Chaos could do a lot more work. Their not that unique compared to the Loyalists. Why not have blood and more objects added to the Chaos Marine's armor? Spikes with severed heads on them? Au contrair. Space marines have a special organ that allows them to absorb knowledge and skills from the flesh they consume. Some chapters (like the Flesh Tearers) even consider it a holy sacrament.

Space marines are not nice people. They're psychotic religious fantatics.

@Playelf not all of them are, there are the over-zealous religious warriors like the Black Templars and the Ultramarines but there are also Space Marine chapters that follow different religions, the Slamanders thank the Emperor for the Empire of Man but they pray to their homeworld's diety and the Space Wolves have more a of Norse god system. even some stories give hint that other chapters are still loyal to the ancient religions of christianity and judaism, they are considered the less brutal
