I'm not retarded and not saying the cars' wheelbase wasn't changed, but wide body kits are to make the car look better when things like wheel spacers are used; ultimately they serve no performance purpose.

@MrDrProfessorBolton This is a gts-t they look crap with the standard guards, GTR's come with a factory widebody so i dont see what everyone is harping on about. Only a gimp would put a widebody kit on and leave the std track, and if you just space your wheels for a wider track - even with the same width wheels - you're going to get a fairly large handling improvement. So they ALLOW you to run a wider track (not just wider wheels)which does have a performance purpose as you say they dont.

The kit is Japanese and plenty of Japanese use it ontop of plenty here in Aus and in other parts of the world.

It also means he can fit 12"+ wheels on the back which def helps with 300rwkw or whatever he has now.

Thats your perogative, cool. And not everything the Japs do is gold... they also go way over the top, with paint interior and body mods. But as far stuffin 12" under the back, not impressed, kinda let down actually. I have 10.5" under my stock bodied S14, so to have that much wide body for only an extra 1.5" makes it even worse to me. Ridiculous even. Though he does need all the help he can get with 300rwkw...

Not sure how much weight it added but it would have been a bit. Car curently weighs 1350kg. We hade to cut away the std gard to fit the wheels but nothing too major. Make sure you check out the latest vids.

@Adz32 It's not only the rotary but if you get an older model, the electronics, brakes, suspension..... All that crap is going to have to be ripped out and replaced. My 88 has to have every bushing replaced and it's pretty expensive doing it. I wouldn't recommend an evo 1. Good cars but it's the car you get if you LIKE to work on cars. S13/S14's are good cars, easy to work on and easy to get parts for. I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with my rx7....
