This is funny. You didn't post any information about what occured with this incident. Why don't you post details of the police report so that we can see? Or, maybe, an unethical agent from another company shouldn't prey on lemming buyers who can't ask a few pertinent questions.

If it's a legitimate claim your state insurance dept should help you out with it. They can force Allstate to pay or they could lose they're license in that state. I'm guessing we're not hearing the whole story here.

Ill never use ALLSTATE. They were basically my first insurance company and were charging me 120.00 a month for basic coverage on my 89' pickup (i was 19-20) at the time with a perfect record). I didnt know any better because i was navie. I then switched to USAA and my insurance went down to 34.00 a month for the same coverage. I got ripped by them.

I had uninsured motorist and my claim was denied.

Then after not paying my claim decided to raise my rate to I shite you not to 3 thousand dollars a year.

I went to a different company and that was three years ago and you guessed it

Allstate wants me as a customer since I now have a good driving recored.

Here is one thing I wish Allstate the good hands people would do go eff yourself buttwads.

Bike looks totalled. What does refusal to pay mean? Mean they wont pay to fix a total? They would only pay for value. If the value is less than the payoff on the loan and lienholder wont write off the balance, well then Allstate wont pay until the lien is cleared. If this is not the case then contact your state's Dept. of Insurance to file a complaint. More to this than meets the eye.

allstate sucks - i got hit an a camry last year by a equanox who had progessive , allstate took so long in the prosess that we got our own lawyer and went after the claim ourself and switched to progressive too because they were so swift in fixing the car after we went over allstates head , allstate=laziest/slowest/sting­iest insurence company ever

I work for Allstate (claims dept) and I can tell you that there IS a GOOD reason why this claim was not paid. IDK where ferbie69 worked but I bet was at a local agency-managed by the agent. there is no such thing as encyclopedia of claim denials. that's just wrong. And we work hard every day to do everything we can to satisfy our customers .

Having worked for Allstate I feel bad for their policy holders, these people are ripped off everyday. Anything and everything is possibly done to Delay the claims process, Defend their positions on claim determinations and to Deny claims. They even try to get their telephone processors to get you to get your vehicles viewed at locations that is convenient and cost saving for them, NOT the policy holder.

@ramman911 Legitimate claims are paid. The problem is, among other things, fraud. Millions of dollars are paid out every year on claims that are fraudulent. There are probably other factors that contribute to the claim not being paid. Insurance companies frankly have to protect them selves from mayhem as well.

I work for an insurance company. And you would not believe how many bogus claims get filed. Or how many people pay for a minimum coverage policy, but as soon as they crash, it's the insurance company's fault that they weren't carrying enough coverage. Understand your policy people!! If it's in the policy the insurance company will pay it!! Otherwise contact your insurance commisioner!! If you crash your Harley and live to see another day, ...consider yourself a winner!!

I had Allstate auto insurance. I got a letter in the mail one day saying they had decided to terminate my policy, that they did not want to insure me anymore. I had no accients, no claims, no problems, just out of the blue they cancelled my policy and left me with no insurance. Customer rep said the company reserves the right to insure who they wish and to terminate polices at their discretion. Allstate sucks and I urge everyone not to do buisness with them.
