  • I'm hard of hearing and I realy want to learn asl!!!!!!!

  • Yay!! i have a close caption .... I can watch The Big Bang Theory with Katie Leclerc!

  • how can i learn this if im deaf ?

  • I hate to say it, but this is probably the best way to learn sign language even if you're not a kid. lol

  • Asl is an amazing and interesting to me. i may not know many people that are hard at hearing but its still fun to learn the language. it is so fun once you actually know a couple of phrases and can say them to people and they're like oh, cool. i want to learn that! its awesome!!!

  • When looking for an online American Sign Language learning program, you need one that will suit your needs. You need an online American Sign Language program that will be conducive to your learning style. Some of the main features to look for in an American Sign Language Program online include, grammar presented in a video format for ease of understanding, themed lessons with limited vocabulary learned in lesson.

  • Please retitle this "How to learn American Sign Language fast - and fun!"

There are hundreds of other sign languages in other countries and finding information on them is made much harder by Americans who just call ASL "sign language". I'm sure you wouldn't like looking for information on ASL and having to sort through information on Australian Sign Language (Auslan) just titled "Sign Language".

  • i really need to learn sign language for my friend Carlos ...

    any suggestions?

  • can older people like me use this to learn too

  • Read the tags it is for kids so do not call it retarded

  • this is retarded

  • ahahahah too high for this but its cool for sign language

  • no no a spider

  • what the that did not show NONE of the asl alphabet

  • This looks good ... but please specify that this is ASL in the title and video information, not just "sign language".

There are MANY sign languages. ASL is not the default.

  • If you want to learn a language or sign language or anything like that. It's best to use a baby or little kid one when you dont know anything about it. when it's for kids, its funner, no matter how old you are lol.

  • I really really wanna learn asl but .... This would drive me crazy..... Did any 1 really learn asl with this????? Thanks

  • Haha this is how I learned ASL! lol

  • I LOVE sign language I can communicate very well with my deaf and hearing friends!

  • cool

  • This video looks like a lot of fun. I will definitely have to get this later. Along with the Signing Time series. I plan on using Baby Sign Language when I have kids. ^_^

  • now i actually want that vid^^ xD

  • wheres the subtitles for the deaf people? seriously.

  • it is close captioned but cc doesn't show up on youtube. a fantastic person posted the transcript below though.

  • Regular CC won't show up on YouTube. You have to have the captions in a special format. I'd make a file for you and send it through a YouTube message, but I'm too busy right now.

  • @SeeMeSign You can close caption YouTube videos.

  • @caekar Hahaha, it's for the hearing people to learn the ASL ;)

  • @caekar it says it''s for hearing children to learn ASL ; )

  • ....Me learning sign language took me like 6 yrs to learn and I still dont have it down packed. It's hard to rememeber, even if ur hearing impared. So there's no fast-learning about it lol. But fun!

  • very nice, is there a bsl one?

  • On their first signing adventure, The Big Surprise, (children shout: "It's a surprise!"), children learn over 80 signs as they visit Picnic Park (children shout: "Jump!"), Exercise Alley, Field of Feelings (children say: "Angry Max"), the Opposites Playground, (child says: "Watch this!") and Music Meadow (children shout: "Piano!").

Sign-A-Lot is entertaining and educational. Who would ever think that something so much fun could be so good for you?

    Thank you! (giggling)

  • (transcript continued)

    (children shout: Guitar!)

Children will have fun signing and playing along with the See-Me-Sign Kids and their animated pals, Lulu Lefty and Ronny Righty.

(child shouts: "Birthday cake!" / children: "Shhhhh!")

  • it's for those who are deaf, they cannot understand this video. You don't suffer a loss here, do you?

  • Transcript:

(singing) "In Sign-A-Lot there's much to say, we learn new words everyday."

(speaking) Welcome to the magical land of signalot where hearing children learn ASL vocabulary in a fun, creative and interactive way!

    Ice cream!

I want to hear you yell it out real loud!

Sign-A-Lot inspires children to be participatory viewers...

    (woman shouts: Butterfly!)

... stimulating intellectual development while making learning entertaining.

  • I like it. Wish there was more.

CC does NOT work on Youtube, yet. However if you post this on Google Video, it is compatible with CC.

BTW, Google now owns Youtube, but I guess it will be awhile before we see CC here. That is why I always subtitle my videos.

Blessings, and hope you will post more.

  • Oh thank you so much! We will look into that!!

  • for both i'm sure.

  • Signalot was created to teach hearing children ASL vocabulary but it is also captioned. It is a great introduction to ASL and a fun way to build sign vocabulary!

  • looks cute. I wonder if it is captioned or only for hearing.
