  • Parental Alienation Syndrome is not a DSM IV accepted clinical diagnosis and has been disproven and disallowed by a number of State courts. Richard Gardner, it's self serving creator, has been widely discredited and ultimately committed suicide. His books were all self published.

  • Replace "children" with "people" for better accuracy

  • Well said JJ

  • The thing is this people, parental alienation is very real and very sad. My son is a invitro baby. It took us 3 years to create him and close to $50,000.00.

He was a twin, the twin died when i was 20 weeks pregnant. My son is the love of my life and I would die for him today!!!

And now he hates me because his dad tells him to hate me. I dont have the money to fight his dad in court. Anyone who says parental alienation isnt real needs to kiss thier children and thank god its not YOU.

    Parental Alienation Syndrome

    Dr Gardners Quotes

  • Bad mouthing and abusive mothers don´t like the term PAS, what´s really no wonder. They are unable to reflect the way they handle their children is abusive and leads to a life-long trauma of adults raised without the other parent around.

  • Must be stiffer penalties for an alienating parent, fines, jail. Looks like there's a obsessive alienator commenting right here, UKSecretCourts. Pas is child abuse and therefore criminal.

  • Sounds like someone here can't read the work of Gardner, and doesn't like the fact that PAS is based on sexual abuse.

Doesn't like it that PAS has been discredited by Harvard and anyone respectable who's investigated it.
