I work in aviation and this is the type of fucking buffoon from the FAA we are constantly having to deal with. These guys have killed American aviation and it is a national tragedy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for posting this mykiki83. I have seen this time and time again. The FAA should be disbanded and private enterprise take over. Its a joke. A friend got a violation and they fined him. There is not even a section in FAA regulations that even ALLOW them to fine the pilots. I hope Air Trek sued the pants off the FAA!

Not sure about statute of Limitations, but the last I know of, a government employee that goes beyond the limits of his "office" is personally liable as I remember it.
The best thing to do is not to say a damn thing to the F'ing AA as they are all a bunch of non aviator bureaucrats who are just as qualified as this ass hole. This must be the birmingham FSDO. They should be sued for all the time and money they cost air trek and this guy should be fired, but do you think any of these things will happen?

I flew as a military pilot 1968-72 then Far 135 and 121 from 1973 to 2008. This is the type of "Suits" I hated dealing with.
