  • i just plastidip my cock so i dont have to carry condoms around

  • it would be easier if you put note cards or playing cards between the tire and wheel lol

  • >>> Id like to emphasise what the guy below me said, it pisses me off

  • MARK 5 not MK!

    Dick.

  • knocking on ure door, jst let the devil in

  • ...and you dont have to mask tires off it just peels off

  • The GTI looked better before plastidipping.

  • Its pronounced MARK.. not Emmmkaaayyy... KTHNXBI

  • dude?! would have been a really good vid except you left out the "how to" part. it was just a bunch of before and afters. you didnt show the process of anything...except washing them. but at least I learned how to get my friends to wash my rims. just tell them I am making a "how to" video and need someone to be the star of the show...

  • @LetsGoFlyers2011 Dude, it's not that hard to search "plasti dip" in the search bar, and there's MANY tutorials on how to do it... damn.

  • @TheSaneDrummer yeah, but this vid says its a "how to". just sayin.

  • @LetsGoFlyers2011 Well yeah, but seriously, plasti dipping almost goes without saying. I just did it to my rims and it was the easiest thing ever. Do research if you really want to.

  • Did you deflate the tire when you masked it off??

  • 1:21 nice catch

  • What did you use to clean the wheels with? I used hand soap and it repelled the plasti dip

  • Nice glove hand.

  • are u gay?

  • tinted windows would make this car so much better trust me

  • Ricers on DECKKKKKKK

  • wow look at all those ricers! lol

  • Can you spray the rims while that are on the car?

  • Ricers on deck

  • I was gonna do this till I seen this video. Looks cheap and tacky.

  • are they taking the nuts off without jacking the car up...?

  • @chrisjeffsmusic loosen the nuts with the car on the ground...

  • peel it off looks gay

  • Special thanks "to"

  • you have a dent in your right rear pannel

  • Man I wish we could get Plasti dip in my country....looks neat.

  • very cool, it really hides the ugliness of the wheel

  • does it lay down nice like no dirt spots or anything?

  • How many cans would you recommend?

  • <<<<<<< MY OTHER CHANNEL(:

  • my buddy, has an EVO 10, that he plans on doing his badges. cuz his car is sliver and they'd look better in black. the car is in my other videos. "coreycross2" that's my other channel. he also has a mark 5 golf r32. (blue) and he's thinking about doing the chrome grill.. idk. should he??

  • i want ur evo

  • You HAVE to get some real tools. I mean, how hard is a real lug wrench to get...

  • That dub sounds really nice, are you planning on plasti dipping anything ells on the car?

  • your lawn is nice. lol

  • shit is looking right bro good stuff..i'm planning to plasti dip my si rims soon wasted so much money on regular paint :( looks good though !!

  • i bought like plasti dip to use it on my cars logo's , , now i tried it on some plastic , and when it dried it's like burned into the plastic when i peel it off????? it also comes off rlly hard ,, Why would i do this on my car if it's like this.... i cleaned the surface well before aplying.

And is german plasti dip the same as the american??

  • $35 - $100 a wheel for powder coating

  • congratulations on missing the essential part of the video, painting the wheels

  • 1:17 ha that was sick

  • Why do you sound like one of those poofs from the Jerry Springer show?

  • when your using plasti dip you dont have to tape off the tires cuz it will just peel off with no damage.

  • When you take the tape off of does the plastdip on the actual rim want to peel with the plastidip on the tape?

  • good job spraying your grass black

  • @puds682 grass gets cut u know that right

  • hi just how many can per wheel did you used? thanks!

  • GTI stock wheels are so nice.

  • Don't even have to tape it off! :)

  • its "mark5" not m k 5 god stupid people, but decent video

  • use a deck of cars it's easier then tap

  • it looked better b4 you've painted. you sould of keep it original mate.

  • 1:53 to 1:54, you go from ZERO Plastic Dip looking wheels to completed with 3 coats. Did you ever stop and think to video your spraying process? You just go from one extreme to the end result without the whole middle. Nice. Maybe you should say SKIP ALL MY USELESS AND SENSELESS CHATTER AND GO RIGHT TO 1:54 of this video.

  • NICE CATCH IVAN!

  • hey man how many cans of plasti dip did you need for all four wheels?

  • why the fuck wouldn't you just take the tires of the rims. who wants to drive it around? I want to see. fuckin dorks man

  • I love plasti dip! If you don't like it you can just peel it off!

  • did you clean it using ARMOR ALL?!........thats not good on paint surface's!!

  • I only had 1hr 30 minutes , but I did this to my mkIV and it came out nicely..I only got two layers on though but still its a miracle in a can haha

  • Mark Five (V) not M.K.Five.

    Americans.

  • dude you didn't even show the process of doing it.

  • the rims will look like a piece of shit when this stuff starts to peel off. i know what im talking about :-/

  • @D2checker Have you used it before? How many coats do you put on? I know a lot of people who use about 3 cans for 4 wheels and it stays on just fine. If it does start to peel you can peel the entire thing off in a minute and put another few layers on or if its a small spot just spray a few coats over the area.

  • @Kadorja

Two layers if i remember right. Started to peel off after 200km of Highway, dont ask me how this could happen.

  • 3:13 looks like the sun is a bullet hole. LULZ LAMOF ROFLE DEGLGDK

  • :28 i like the way you use them big manly muscles you have;)

  • How many cans did you use bro?

  • What about the Carwash?

  • How does this hold up on the road? Does it chip easy from pebbles?

  • Aww, yeeee! Evo, Si, and a GTI. :P

  • Looks good imo, and you can always remove it if you get bored. Plastidip ftw.

  • looks pretty bad. black wheels just look like you have steelies while your rolling

  • @aestheticsoldier At 1:30 you see my EVO. So sorry but i'm not a VW fanboi. Your 28 years old and probably drive a POS ricer and hate on everyone that has nice cars. Thank you for watching 3 minutes and 51 seconds of my video.

  • @EvoAgentVIII burned the SHIT out of that bitch lol

  • Comment removed

  • @aestheticsoldier Amd what do you like "good ol american muscle?" Fucking pussy

  • @aestheticsoldier lol nub

  • @aestheticsoldier fuck you hater!!!

  • did u put a clear coat after??

  • @Technojunkie0013 No clear coat as it is not needed.

  • I like the OEM look better

  • who wants to drive it around? I DO!

  • NEVER paint original VW rims!!!! and specially not with a spraycan!!!!

  • @261069261069 Plasti dip is like a spray on vinyl wrap.. it's not permanent

  • @261069261069 it's not paint, no worries

  • @261069261069 it peels right off. It's not actual spray paint.

  • @261069261069

Plastidipping actually protects the rim during the winter from salt and ice chunks, So they will be nice and shiny after you take it off for the show season, I have an 1800 dollar set of BBS rims, I sure as hell am not going to let them ride out the winter naked....15 dollars now saves 300 later to get the rims resurfaced...

  • @261069261069 its plastic nerd

  • Good job guys! Looks really good!

  • Comment removed

  • @ThisGuyOnLive same hahaha

  • Question, u did 3 coats right? how long should I wait between coats.

any additional advice would be appreciated. Thanks

  • how is it after over a year?

  • After painting the rims look like they belong to another car. I would love to see the top section of the vehicle be black so that it grounds the black rims and give the vehicle a solid composition. Franken-car at this point. But thanks for the info =)

  • I started to do this to my rims i got half way through the job and a bird shit on my dip

  • nice vid man. Just wondering, how many total coats did you gave?

  • i love the way he just casually showed off his evo.... hahaa

  • ROFL. You just HAD to show your Evo huh? Haha...

  • M-K-5 or Mark 5? The before looks hot; the after looks like a waste of time (ugly). Good try though.

  • when you removed the tape did the plasti-dip want to come off with it? Any tips on that step? Thanks.

  • that looks awesome!

  • how long do they last??

  • Whats it like trying to get a even finish? and how long has it lasted?

  • PS your buddy went way overkill on the black accents. congrats on making his rs look like a racer boy

  • #1. dont ever say "em kay vee". #2 tell your buddy he isnt low at all, therefore he doesnt have to leave the driveway like hes slammed.

  • Does it ever peal off? or will it stay on?

  • rAciNg, looks so good :)

  • next time instead of taping them off use index cards. line them up between the tire and rim vertically and it will catch any overspray ;)

  • Did you sand down the wheels? If so, what grit sandpaper did you use?

  • How resistant is the colour to high speeds, hight temperature and the Sun?If its something like permanent then its really cool, you can whenever you want go back to original ,right?

  • how many coats did you do?

  • Never mind I think I heard you say three coats in

  • How many coats did you use

  • haha he said EM KAY FIVE!!!!

  • @MikeAndreRIch that he did....

  • can you get plasti dip in different colors? im getting my mkv thursday and wanna do this by friday

  • Oh man look at that curb rash............that would drive me nuts

  • how you remove the plastidip thing off if you decided to go back to stock?

  • Hmmm an evo, si, and mk5...Im sure you all know of each other lol. On or off the roads

  • Hmm an evo, si, and gti all in one little spot...Im sure youve all met before on the road lol

  • how many cans did it take to do all 4 rims?

  • @roystreetmedia It took 3 cans.

  • how many cans for all 4 wheels? thnx!!

  • @gesc1200 3 cans.

  • thats cool when you popped the volkswagen emblem out haha

  • How Many Cans did it take for all Four rims bro?

  • Is that a subaru in the background?

  • @SuperTMStudios HELL NO! thats an evo son!

  • @matt37075

alright i see it now, i was watching it on a phone. My bad

  • really it seemed kind of idiotic thing to do. I must say it came out amazing. though I really liked the rims before the plasti dip they look like new rims. nice job!

  • Fantastic. Thank you for posting this.

  • they look profesional

  • MK5 = SHEWWWWWWWWINGGGG ! BONER ON A DSG BABY !

  • did you ever put rim cleaner on it?

  • Was that a Resonator delete i heard?

  • @RcNdi Yup, resonator delete is right : )

  • For the love of god man, why would you want to plastic coat those lovely stainless rims!! This is the stuff screwdriver handles are made off!!

  • wow very nice man, red would have looked baller too to match the grille

  • Can I do this on winter season or should I wait for warmer weather? Thanks

  • whats the drop on ur mkv

  • It's "MARK" five not emm kay five...

  • @TheLoringLank hahaha wwwaaaaahhhh way to cry kid hahah

  • @s1dnac1t just trying to educate the apparently ignorant.

  • Did you use the same thing on the VolksWagen logo? I want to black out my grill too

  • nice fa5! im doin this to my fa5 stockies sunday

  • you guys got a nice trio of cars ^^

  • 1:28 Yummy EVO :)

  • What about washing the wheels with it on?

  • For those who havent done anything like this you should have shown you applying at least one coat of the plasti dip to the wheel man. looks great btw. But i'm not sure how you applied the dip. is it in a spray can or is it poured on/brushed on?

  • Hi there from Ireland . how was it when driving high speeds did it peel off at all , and do we have to sand alloys before applying plastic dip. thanks in advice ~ great video

  • @alfa01spotivo It has not peeled at all. Even at speeds over 80mph. Do not sand them just in case you want to remove the plasti dip. Check out my part 2 video for this same car. It shows the same car/rims 6 months later. Good Luck with everything.

  • @EvoAgentVIII

Dude go back to Honda, it looks bad, only Honda ex driver would do it

  • @MegaRocky2011 I drive an Evo, not a Honda. Sorry.

  • @MegaRocky2011

    you're a moron

  • @alfa01spotivo NO! Do not sand anything. Just in case you want to go back to the original color. This is not permanent paint. It will not come off durning high speeds. Its pretty durable.

  • did it change the balance of the wheels? any wiggle on high speed?

  • @netpolice151 No wiggle. Everything stayed the same.

  • WHAT NO SANDING ???

  • Good Job man! I'm wondering how the finish is after 6 months? is it chipping a little bit? or is it all still intact?

  • Nice job guys!

  • will this work on chrome rims? thanks

  • you can just say "mark five."

  • I fucking Plasti Dip EVERYTHING!!!!! My bike is Plasti Dipped

  • HEY EvoAgentVIII I just wanted to ask you, since you first did the job, how good has the Plastidip turned out, its been (according to Youtube) about 4 months, so I wanted to ask you, any feedback about it?

Hope you answer =) . Thanks!

  • how do you clean them when they get dirty?

  • I bet that looks real good now ! nothing like half silver/half black peeling rubber wheels on a "hot rod" volkswagen.

Thats a dumb way to change the color of wheels. Rattle cans should NEVER be used to paint wheels. If using a lower grade finish like paint (vs powdercoat, chrome etc), at very least a two component single stange paint should be used. 2K urethanes such as DuPont imron or Nason ful-thane work OK. And they need to be beed blasted before hand to remove normal resude

  • Sure, put shit rubber product on shitty rims of shitty car...

  • You gave me a new idea to do my stock red ford probe rims plasti dip red. thanks man! Buy yourself some Oakley Penny's, only available on ebay, made most popular from the x-men movie character cyclops, then buy my rubber accessory kits (DG Mods) from ebay soon to be released.
