  • One of the best games I've ever played

  • Which sound option did you choose for the music? I selected the Roland MT-32 and it didn't sound like. Does the roland or MIDI on dosbox have to be set to a certain setting?

  • @slicknickxp I think that this is a real MT-32. As the description says, there are a lot of custom patches in this tune. It sounds pretty much like my MT-32.

  • @EpicureMammon Do you use the MT-32 through Dosbox? If so, how would I have to set it up to use this patch?

  • @slicknickxp Sorry! Yes I do! Basically i use it like you would have normally. I have a joystick port -> MIDI din plug (most soundcards with a joystick port also double as a midi controller). Off the top of my head I don't remember which custom settings that I had to use. THere is a command line prompt (I believe) to change the midi map. By default, I believe, it uses window's default setting, but you can point it to a specific port. That or mapped through my Santacruz midi out.

  • Very difficult game.

  • never played it through - will do it ...

  • That was the 1st adventure game I ever played, and the first game I had my new shiny 8 bit soundblaster for. I still love it and play it in DosBox!

  • Wuooo... I still remember the tune on Internal Speaker :D
