It's proven now, that Obama is the next president of the United States.
The reason why Republicans lost was because of this low filtered media such as NBC, CNN, MSNBC, Charlie Gibson interview, and especially Katie Couric interview. Katie's interview WITH Sarah Palin which made her look dumb, along with the financial crisis lost a lot of votes to the Republicans.
If the media was partisan, Republicans would've won, for now Democrats are in.
Why would Obama admit to having a weakness when all you would do is exploit his answer? Katie, that's the oldest trick in the damn book.Barack's too smart for that shit.
McCain didn't answer the question. She asked what his own personal flaw was and he started talking about what he needs to prevent from happening. No wonder he likes Palin.

democrats can only play the blame game! cause they have never been part of trying to help the country, they are there to help tear down this great country.
Well, Obama's going to win, that's what it looks like. We'll be saved from 8 years of conservative hell, from the retarded and murderer president we have now, who does not care about anything but himself and other rich republicans. Obama cares about this country -- he cares about the poor economy, for example. You never hear these Rep's talk about anything to help people in need, and when they do it's only b/c they have to. All they want is to help people who already have means.
The first question was outstanding. It's clear that McCain has a firm grasp of the reality of the situation. Obama's answer was amusing because he reverted to what he's based his entire campaign on(G.W. screwed up). It also showed his lack of understanding of the terrorists we're dealing with. The divisive rhetoric of the '04 elections brought an increase of violence in Iraq that only slowed down when the intensity of demands for premature troop withdrawal in congress died off.
Yea...I'd rather "wisely" kill the enemy, rather than just plain old killing them. Kill 'em all wisely...Remember your words, all you libs, when Obama becomes president..all of you remember...You want change, and I say 'be careful what you wish for. The world is not prepared for what is about to happen when Dems take over the White House.

Exactly war is all McCain can talk about. Is more so trying to fix up what's wrong in the nation today, and he's aware of the safety of America. But you can't just go starting up wars on every single country. You have to be wise about it. If Obama becomes president I'll trust him when it comes to America's safety. Even if McCain becomes president, but I'm a 100% Obama supporter.
Okay that much is true and many people think that Obama would go to war if he stops the war in Iraq, but he never said that, He did say that he would declare war in Afghanistan because Al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden is there. McCain NEVER mentioned Afghanistan and the danger there. BIN LADEN IS THERE! and McCain wants to finish up the war in Iraq and start another one in Iran. THATS TOO MANY WARS! I trust Obama on wars, I feel like he would make a good decision about it when he becomes president.
Mel, you're a good example of what happens when someone only listens to one side of a story. McCain has talked about many things besides Iraq since the campaign season started and before. McCain's long-standing stance on Iran is nearly identical to the stance Obama recently started talking about (though Obama explains it differently to try to cover his earlier idiotic statements on the subject). You have to remember that Obama is just another politician lying about his opponent at election time.
There is little to no reason to give a straight up answer in regards to personal flaws. People's judgment of that person will flock immediately to the idea of their personal flaw when they are brought up in discussion, as opposed to being a symbol of strength and confidence.
The obvious "trick" is to not openly admit a flaw, but rather admit either a minute flaw, or a strength that can be worded to be viewed as a type of weakness.

Katie Couric seems to get upset because from her facial expressions one can tell that she does not like John Mccain.
Check her interview with Biden and Obama, she seems to be quite pleasant.

i hate the "personal flaw" questions
it's like right out of a college application.
No politician will ever give a straight answer to it
