  • Logic once existed, then came this show. I LOVE ROADRUNNER

  • Surely it is counter-productive to use high-order explosives to secure a meal.

Would there be anything left to consume?

  • the plan at the end looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • The Road Runner must be bent on self-preservation.

  • Dali wrote these cartoons.

  • A work of genius. Road Runner cartoons have one joke, you know exactly what's coming, and you still laugh your ass off when it happens.

  • @BramGroatFilms have you seen a show called Man Vs Cartoon, students at New Mexico Tech actually did this.

  • this one was one of my favorite old time wile-e and road runner cartoons. Mostly because of the very funny momment from 1:52 to 2:12.

  • @austin5341837 He will never catch the roadrunner never

  • @austin5341837 I also realy LOVE that part too. Ilove the noise the piece of wood makes.

  • @austin5341837 I like these cartoons because of those,too.

  • Loved these as a kid and this one was one of my favourites.

Loved the complexity of the final trap and that it starts with the tiniest of catapults lol!

  • LOL the cannonball hit him instead

  • i wonder if they ever used this name for roadunner and coyote: ROADRUNNER (spinumus tiresmus) COYOTE (eatumus dustubus)

  • I miss these cartoons.

  • I can remember the Hi-Q music bein' used to advertise 1 of our Chicago-area zoos, either, Brookfield, or, Lincon Park, not sure which 1.

  • 4:24-4:26 is hilarious.

  • That piano part is LOL.

  • There was a musician's strike in Hollywood during the summer of 1958, so the studio had to "score" six of their cartoons through cues from Capitol's "Hi-Q" production music library {via "compiler" John Seely)- this was one of them. A music cue that William Loose wrote was later adapted into the 'DENNIS THE MENACE" theme in '59 [Screen Gems used the same "Hi-Q" library for those episodes].

  • @fromthesidelines Don't forget "The Ren and Stimpy Show" also used the Capitol Hi-Q library as well!

  • 2:20

    EPIC FAIL

  • the music sounded like the dennis the menace theme from the old black and white tv show

  • @josh9180 - it was, in a sense. This cartoon came out before Dennis' 1st episode, but apparently someone remembered it, and the official Dennis theme was a key or so off, but yes this was it.

  • That stick got a life of its own. :P

  • @BigEasyWinger That could've been the inspiration for that gag from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

  • 2:20 is LOL :D

  • ACME products are so poor in qulaity so Coyote always loses
