Pfft, you're worried about what happened to Ariel's Les Jr.? Ian is playing a guitazoid that was confiscated by authorities after he swung it too wildly and decapitated several roadies. It's currently owned by Gozer the Gozerian.
My first concert was Mott The Hoople at the Kennedy Center In DC. Front row seats. Iggy Pop was the opening act and Iggy scared the shit out of me Then Mott came out and blew me away. Long live Ian and the dudes!
This just makes me miss all those rock shows that we watched on TV when I was a kid. Nothing like that anymore. For that matter, all the venues (with the exception of one, which is closed), were torn down in the last 10 or 15 years. I don't like living in the past, but that video represents a glorious period for Rock and Roll. Sorely missed.
Luther's Les Paul Junior is now the property of Huw Lloyd Langton from Hawkwind. I remember in the 80's Luther had about 80 Guitars in his Garage. Out of all of them that Les Paul was the one he should never have got rid of !!! : )

Nothing like the sound of an old Les Paul Jr with a single P90. Unmistakable sound.
