for those of u that don't know this. but haim died they said they was going to do a 4th haim was going to be the main character because it was about his character sam. thats why he wasn't in this one n while they were shooting thats when he died in the 3rd one it was nice of them to do the tribute with the flash backs n the comic sam was looking for in the 1st lost boys the 3rd one is pretty good. but as for the 4th they can't really do one because of haim passing

From what I heard, some guy wrote a script called The Tribe which was about some surfing werewolves, but Warner Brothers wouldn't make it because it was too much like The Lost Boys. Eventually, they told the writer to change the werewolves to vampires and add in Edgar Frog and they made it into a sequel. They didn't even want Haim in it because of his reputation, but Feldman said he wouldn't do it if Haim wasn't in it. That's how we got these 3 shitty scenes at the end.

Yes airsoftjunky26 that is Sam from the first film. You dont know what to believe in the comics, as its revealed Edgar was making alot of stuff at the end. Only thing to be taken what he says is true in the comic is about Alan becoming a vampire and sam being in the nuthouse. And in the epilogue it is revealed that Shane was MADE by David in the scene of the attack on the surf nazis in the first film

For those asking how Sam became a vampire I'm not really sure, but at some point there were 3 very rare comic books released before the movie leading up to the events of Lost Boys 2. If you can actually find one of these things, maybe it will epxlain it, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

it wasn't this scene he f'd up.  If u recall in the two coreys the producer tries to get haim out the caravan and says 'we're losing light'. Theres a 2 minute scene with Edgar and Sam talking on the beach that is an alternative ending (on youtube). It's probably that scene he f'd up.
