It seems as if this police offr did jump the gun, and asked for the ID whilst still effectively giving the legal warning, & he did need to record & show the Db reading if he was going to "cite" the preacher. However, the preacher did need to lower the volume - the 1st Amendment doesn't mention loudspeakers! Some of the things the preacher said didn't sound right too, like saying "God doesn't believe in atheists" - that caused audible groans around them, if you listen.
It is their Constitutional right to speak publicly, granted many towns require you to get a permit, etc...still, it is their right just as it is your right to post here in opposition.
Assuming you went to court on the citation you could beat it if he did not present the db readings in court. Just from the video I would say you guys were a little too loud.

If you are blasting your philosophy at people who don't want to hear it, realistically, how likely are those people to actually convert to your views - and aren't you more likely to push people away? You don't need a sound level meter to know how loud 85Db. is. A lawn mover is about 90 Db. I am sure the cop can tell that you are above 9Db using that bullhorn. It is very important to understand that in God's sight no one is righteous. This means that we should not fight each other to see who is more righteous. Everyone is a sinner and the only way to salvation is Jesus Christ. He washed our sins away by dying in the cross for us. By doing what Jesus said we are given eternal life. You don't need a sound level meter to know how loud 85Db. is. A lawn mover is about 90 Db. I am sure the cop can tell that you are above 9Db using that bullhorn. It is very important to understand that in God's sight no one is righteous. This means that we should not fight each other to see who is more righteous. Everyone is a sinner and the only way to salvation is Jesus Christ. He washed our sins away by dying in the cross for us. By doing what Jesus said we are given eternal life. I see my atheist brethren were express thier point of view and the fundie was preaching his nonsense. HOWEVER, the atheists had the common courtesy to obey the law while doing it.

The bible is not the sole source of morality fundie. I get my morality from my life experiences. I'm sure there are quite a few people that wouldn't be too happy with you deciding for them what laws and rules they follow. I know I'm not, you have every right to practice your religion, don't push it on me.

yes, that is exactly the message of religous nuts. Anybody who does not share their thoughts is sad, stupid, lost, doomed, etc. etc. Preachers like this one especially enjoy the "anger" and "punishment" aspects of their archaic and worthless religion - I wonder why? They are NOT trying to "bring people to Christ" or make their lives happier in any way - they simply want to see them suffer and get "punished."

Your assesment of me is so far off I felt the need to respond. Icare about these people andthat is why I go out to them and expose their sin. The most loving thing I can do is let them know where they stand before a Holy and Just God. Why would anyone seek a savior if they did not need one? The law is perfect converting the soul.

I'm curiouse, Preacher, what is your point in devoting so much time on YouTube? I mean, couldn't you be out feeding the homeless, clothing the homeless, working at an orphanage, helping sick people, the list goes on and on of "need" in this country. Instead, you're on YouTube showing stupid little insipid videos that have no meaningful value to them whatsoever. Is this the "lord's work?" I thought being a true Christian meant so much more than that.

I ue youtube for a couple of reasons.
1. To show other Christians that there are people standing against sin for God. see Psalm 94:16-17
2. As a witness to the wicked, like yourself who like to watch the videos and recieve the truth of Gods Word. They become without excuse.
3. And it acts as video lbrary for me.

LOL you're disgusting. You are the reason people are turned OFF of the gospel, rather than ON to it. People like you and your self-righteous, smug, thinkly masked hatred of others is what makes people start questioning how people can say they are "Christian" when all of their actions and words prove otherwise. Love is a verb - it's something to DO, not say - why don't you do some acts of LOVE and you will probably see the difference quickly.
