The band originally featured Denny Laine as lead singer and Clint Warwick on bass guitar. In late 1966, Laine was replaced on lead guitar and vocals by Justin Hayward and Warwick was replaced on bass guitar and vocals by John Lodge, These guys put the Moody Blues onto the music scene big time. They would have faded away if not for the change in line up even though this is the best version of "Go Now" I think has been produced to date.
Seeing these old videos is like taking a trip back in time. It is great to see the origin of the Moody Blues with Denny Laine. I always loved this song. And when they changed linups and brought in Justin Hayward and John Lodge the Moody Blues got even better and evolved into the greatest poetic band in rock history. Peace.
Absolutely the saddest "break-up" song of all time. What a classic!

I was 7 years old when this song came out. As a child and as an adult I still find it mesmerizing.
