dude just because you put dynamat on your trunk lid doesn't mean it will stop the rattle in other parts of your car such as your license plate and the bottom part of your wheel well... your license plate take that shitty black frame off and screw your license plate down properly with four bolts. put dynamat underneath the carpet inside your trunk and on the sides too. also other places to put dynamat are underneath your carpet and under your roof interior .

I was just giving your some friendly advice because you made your viewers think that just because you took your time putting Dynamat underneath your trunk lid that it's supposed to stop all vibration on the whole car. Now at least you know for the future. I'm wanting to do some more Dynamat for my car and am wondering if more than one layer is actually beneficial or not. Anyways have a nice day.

All the parts inside the trunk is whats doing it. You can try to spray them with some sound damping spray. That trunk would sound like a crap big time if you never did what you did. And you could try adding more dynamat on top of what u have.

hmm does the air flow of you Fi sub woofer vs the tight sealed space of the truck...i think the air flow wins....dynamat does work-ish but unless you have like a real tight seal car like the newer ones your gonna get rattle.... and dude rattle lets people know your shit hits THAT hard.. let it rattle away

you have to cover pretty much the entire trunk man... you got one layer of Dynamat with a giant sub about 5 inches away from the trunk lid... add a second layer or get dynaliner, and finish the trunk... you really need about 40 sq ft to do a trunk adequately

Btw not trying to bash or anything bc I like the fi but dynamat doesn't fix all rattles it just helps with it, u deff did a good job putting it on but when u get up to high spl nothing is going to completely stop rattling or flex unless ur car is like an armored truck ha hope that was helpful
