Interesting fact: Daryl was a strict vegetarian then so they had to make the lobster out of thin edible crystal like material and filled it with leeks and string cheese. After each take they had a bucket she could spit it back out in. Till this day she can’t eat leeks without thinking lobster.

I was watching the behind the scenes for this movie one day when I rented it on DVD and it said that the actress who played Madison was a vegetarian. So they had a bucket next to her when she was doing the lobster scene so that she didn't really have to eat it.

If he only crunched enough for the take, spit it out and deliver the next line, it saved a ton of time.
