I'm from western new York and to answer rite question, when you live in a place like this all your life, it just comes and goes. But where also prepared with shovels snowblowers, it's nice to have a thick coat and a 4x4 truck. I stay here because you have to make the best of it with snowmobiles and boards or skis if you prefer. Come and check it out one year around this time. It's quite fun

That seems like a fine English accent to me, but none of the people on YouTube from England use it, they all sound like they are doing a General American accent, also called American Media. Which is the accent you use.

Actually Churchill and the other British leaders from World War 2 hardly seemed to have English accents.

@marielle019 Yeah, I'm not too good at texan accents because I was raised in California. I'm taking a dialects class this next semester at my school and I'm psyched! I can't believe you had snow so late. We got another 6 inches the last day of my spring break which was May 20-something. That was pretty crazy!

Saskatoon, SK, Canada. in 2007 we had a blizzard that took us to 6 feet of snow... closed down everything (which doesn't happen here), and to a city where a 20 min drive across the city (west side to east side) took 2 hours. you couldn't see 2 feet in front of you. so be lucky you live where you do,. because it's a cake walk compared to other places :)

It's weird how everyone in northern Texas got a foot of snow when the first "big snow" in Michigan last week was 7-8 inches. For Michigan, it hasn't been a very snowy year although all my friends still complain about it.

I actually lived in southern Texas for a few years when I was 5-8 years old and I never saw more than a trace of snow. It's amazing what the weather can do, whether we like it or not.

Those were some great accents by the way. You did a great job with those!

Well, up here, you kinda get snow a lot. The first few times it happens, it really sucks. But, eventually you get used to it, and you try and find the fun in it, like we know ahead of time of the snow, so we get our sleds ready! So.... yeah. Also, great accents! here in the north east, I guess we've become acustomed to having the cold weather and the snow. . .But now that I'm thinking about it we here in the north are probably more equip to take on the snow, for example if we have like a foot of snow sure grade schools would be closed and maybe some collage classes postponed but the snow on the roads is usually gone in like 2 hours. . .oh, well i digress, I personally wouldn't want to live any where else in the world, i guess i just like the weather : )
