  • BusyAtom...I WONDER WHERE YOU ARE?!

  • are you making videos? Dx it's been a few months..

  • where is lesson 20?

  • @MightUniqueNinja - Actually, 에서 is another particle that is similar but not identical to 에. 에서 is used when the action starts at the place but ends elsewhere. For example "미국에서 왔어요" means "I came from America". The act of coming starts in America but ends elsewhere. If you say "미국에 왔어요", it means "I came to America", so the act of coming ends in America. :)

  • @liegjepiet Hello I forgot to ask you this in Twitter but if you don't mind could you explain something more about your school system? To be honest I have never heard "passing 5th year"

  • @BusyAtomdotcom Of course ^^

    The school system of Belgium:

-first we have nursery school (age 3-5)

-after we have primary school 6 years (5-12)

    -Secondary school 6 years (12-18)

After the secondary school we can chose to go the the College or University ^^

  • @liegjepiet its the same in most African countries as well...its the European system

  • @debbieization Yes that's true

The reason for it is I THINK,

That there where a lot if European colonies in Afrika ^^

  • @liegjepiet Oh, thank you. I guess you've just passed 5th year in Secondary school^__^ Congratulations!

  • @JungJiYul So technically, You can get enrolled in Canadian school after finishing school in Philippines to have a long vacation - March to September then transfer to Philippines again at the following March: Sorry^__^ I am just a bad student.

  • When are you planning to release the next lessons?

  • Q14: In Brazi lthe opening of the school year is in february >__<

  • @MikaDaebak Wow, so far it seems that every country has different time for opening of the school year. I guess at some point all the calendar months will be filled^__^. Thank you for answering the questions. 감사합니다.

  • The answer to Q15 is debatable. Theoretically, the longer the roasting time, the more caffeine is burned off and lost. However, since dark roast beans expand but become lighter in weight due to water loss, if you measure by weight, it has more caffeine than light roast. If you measure by volume, light roast has more caffeine. Physiologically, though, the bodily effect of caffeine content in both have very negligible difference.

요즘에 바빠서, 잠시만 사라질 거예요. 선생님, 연습 주셔서 감사합니다!

  • @nejiki8 와 대단하세요! 감사합니다. 연습 주셔서 --> 연습문제 주셔서^__^.

  • Q13: It is true that studying any language can help shape up ur brain. I was told by a doctor that engaging in any intellectual activity can help ur brain stay healthy~

Q14: In Philippines the opening of the school year is in June and closes in March.

  • @nnlilac 질문에 좋은 답해 주셔서 감사합니다^__^.

  • isn't question number 3, "How is the weather today?"

  • @tubeampsrule1 Yes! Precisely^__^.

  • @BusyAtomdotcom great!

    well, to answer your question:

    오늘은 아주 예쁜 하루예요.

that took me quite a while, by the way. I hope it's correct.

  • @tubeampsrule1 That's really 예쁜 answer^__^. I would guess that 14 years old girl had a really wonderful day and in her diary she would write "오늘은 아주 예쁜 하루였어요" - poetic as well^__^.

  • @BusyAtomdotcom

What would be another way of saying it?

Is there another word that can be used instead of 예쁘가?

  • @tubeampsrule1 I am assuming that you would like to say 'It's a beautiful day, today' (weather-wise). The closet one that I can come up with is '오늘은 정말 아름다운 날씨예요'. or '오늘은 날씨가 정말 아름다운 날이에요'. The word '아름답다' means 'to be beautiful'

  • @BusyAtomdotcom

    Your assumption is correct. :)

You're a great help and I appreciate your quick responses! I'm looking forward to the next lessons.

Please look forward to more questions from me, in the future.

  • @tubeampsrule1 I will be looking forward to your questions^__^ Have a good weekend! = 좋은 주말 보내세요 or 주말 잘 보내세요!

  • @BusyAtomdotcom

    감사합니다, 너도!

  • Teacher, these are my answers: ( i didn't look at the monitor) 1. What is love? 2. Does the taste OK? 3. How are you today? 4. The weather is truly good today. 5. Ahhm, (excuse me) where is the convenience store? 6. Jayson is at the fifth floor of the library. 7. The elephant is outside the convenience store. 8. The elephant outside the convenience store is eating pizza!!!! 9. The convenience store is beside the 5 story library. ( not sure) 10. Big brother, _____ what are you doing?
  • @nnlilac 정말 잘 했어요!!! Minor things will be

7 and 8. outside --> in front of

9: The post office is next to convenience store which is located behind library.

    10. Oppa, what are you doing here?

  • @BusyAtomdotcom 감사합니다 ^ --- ^ I'll study harder next time~ I watch the four videos continuously.

Really really helpful ^^ Mabuhay ka JB! Long live JB!

  • I could recognize about 80% of the words for the sentences! Whether or not I can translate them correctly and precisely, however, I'm not too confident. I really appreciate the videos, nonetheless.

I think school, here in the U.S., starts in August and again the following September.
