Dennis Kucinich speaks for me. It's a shame about the debate in Nevada, a real disgrace. Kucinich's voice deserves to be heard! What's happening to our democracy??? That was no debate; it was a three-way photo op of mirror image candidates. Kucinich's voice is the most authentic, his integrity the strongest. His policy explanations are the richest in supporting detail and his stance is the most consistent. It would be an honor to have him as President.

Democracy in America is dead and has been for awhile. Corporations own our elections. They will elect whoever they want. Dennis (and Paul probably) will be the only candidates I vote for this year. Keep going Dennis, keep going. As a person who is fed up with this corporate fascism and hates Hillary and dislikes the politics of Obama and Edwards, I will vote for Dennis. Should that bitch Clinton be the nominee, I will go to the polls and write in Dennis Kucinich. Kucinich is my hero and when I am a U.S. Congressman, I will be the next Kucinich. GE can take their money and shove it up their ass. They can go screw themselves. F you NBC, GE, and Brian Williams. F you to hell!!!
When the time comes I'd like to see Paul/Kucinish. Both our group have alot in common. after the elecetion we should create our own voting block and take back this country precinct by precinct to help Ron and Dennis return us to glory.
I wish more people would realize that they are being played by corporate media. Almost all the news you read or watch is nothing more than an infomercial. Wake up people before it's too late! Fight for Dennis Kucinich, because he's the only one fighting for you!
I wish votes could not be bought so easily by the other politicians.
Dennis speaks the truth and history has always proven his political decisions as the right ones.
No other candidate speaks as honest and straight forward as Dennis. I can't understand why he does not have more support. It is sad that more Americans do not support this kind of leadership.
IMPORTANT - ALL AMERICANS - NOT JUST RON PAUL AND KUCINICH SUPPORTERS:
South Carolina Primary Election is being conducted against its own state constitution, the US constitution and against 2 previous supreme court rulings!
Also, I wouldn't mind starting a new country run by Kucinich and Paul. We could call it Newmerica or something. I would relocate there in a heartbeat and let the Neocons destroy this country without me.
it's time for the corporate media entities interfering with open democratic debates to lose their licenses. they're stealing the airwaves from the american public, and they're stealing the election by locking candidates out of the debates.
I argue that the more votes, the more confidence, and the more authority you will have to do those things you want to do for all of us. But they say that the power block is too strong. I say we have to start somewhere. Putting a man on the moon was impossible too! But once the collective is behind you, everything is possible.
You know my husband and I are voting for you,in fact I already have on a paper ballot here in San Francisco at City Hall. But our bandmates, like many Americans will not. Not because they don't like you or your ideas, but they do not believe the current political climate will allow you to accomplish the things you want to do. Is that true?
15 Billion a month in Iraq is costing everyone in this country the same as a car payment on a new luxury car. It could pay for a college education for all of our kids. It could buy us 15,000 2MW windmills per month to bring us energy independence. It could buy us healthcare. Do the math, prove me wrong.
yea but that money goes to americans, it doesn't go to iraqis, they call it trickle down economics...so americans are actually getting the money anyway...
Then the money is gone. It employed some people to build, but it did not create additional wealth. On the other hand, if you educate our kids, they have earned higher earning power. The investment is not gone, it's still working for you. The same would be for the windmill, the car, even health care. Healthy workers are more productive.
excellent points, i couldn't agree more, but all these people who go around saying we are spending all this money in iraq, this is false, the money is actually spent on americans, slight bit on iraqis...
the money is spent on americans? i don't really see how. most of the money goes to big corporations, like raytheon/GE and what do they do with it? they buy more airtime and spend it on their lobby.
besides, the issue is not the money. the issue is whether you want to be living in a real democracy or not.

Nothing trickles down to the average American. The money stays with the Corporations. They don't even pay their taxes. The same situation with Bush's tax cuts to the very wealthy. Nothing trickles down. That's why our economy is in shambles.
This was the most clear & concise explanation of corporate power in the United States. This is not a democracy and we have only the illusion of freedom. Not only do we have to worry about corporate control, we must remember that our votes do no count. Only electoral college votes count. This is why Bush was installed as president against Gore. ...So why vote? Why? Why vote?
Dennis I like what you say, but you dealt a slap in the face to Mike Gravel. You ignored Mike when he was first excluded and all the others after that. Why is it that you can't admit Mike is a fantastic candidate? You are NOT the only good choice on the Democratic side. What a shame...
we should've put him over in Michigan - if not for delegates, it would've been a resounding symbolic victory. Instead 7% of registered Dems opted to vote for Hillary and declare themselves "uncommitted".
GE supported the rise of the Third Reich. Fuck them. I unwittingly bought a car warranty from them. My used car's engine shit the bed after four months, and they said it was MY FAULT. General Electric is evil.
He makes a valid point, but at the same time you can't blame NBC for wanting to exclude him. Remember, he was included all of the debates up until his showing in the primaries. He received only a fraction of the votes of Bill Richardson who dropped out of the race. So you can't blame them for not viewing him as a serious candidate at that point.
Can't blame them? Can't blame them? What planet are you on? NBC has only the duty to INFORM us, when not Entertaining us (which they do a horrible job at anyway, just how many Law & Orders are there?) They just didn't want his anti-establishment voice heard, plain and simple
But even in debates prior to the primaries they would hardly call on him. Their questions to the candidates were softballs. Dennis had to ask himself the question of impeachment and answer it, in order to bring it to the debate. They instead asked him about UFOs and later attacked him as a nut case.
The people already have the power. Its called money. People can do what they want with their money. All you have to do is boycott and you can regain some control.
Dennis Kucinich speaks for me!! Shame on GE and the networks for trying to silence his voice in the debates. If you don't vote your heart, your heart never wins. Dennis is a fully evolved candidate, he deserves our support because he stands for what is right, and for true democracy. Not a corporate kleptocracy like we've been having the past 8 years. Kucinich, keep it up!
Freedom of speech is the concept of being able to speak freely without censorship.
Nobody tried to censor any member of the press using the NBC medium, neither did anyone try to censor the medium itself (whether the first amendment applies to the media service is debatable, because it is only the medium through which members of the press may "publish" the information they gathered.)
I am both sad & angry at how the corporate media are showing themselves to be a bunch of two-faced hypocritical bastards! Isn't competition a hallmark of a democratic and capitalistic society? By showing America FEWER choices do they suppose they are performing a service for the public? I recall how the old soviet state would proclaim that a one party system was a better democracy. Its time to wake up get angry & speak out
I heard Elizabeth Kucinich today on a radio show say CNN has now eliminated him from an upcoming debate as well. This will be four consecutive debates Dennis Kucinich has been taken out of. In a TV culture like ours, they have made him invisible to many in their effort to silence his voice. I found it sadly ironic that the Vegas debate for which Kucinich was uninvited to occurred on MLK day. This seemed so hypocritical to me.
MSNBC and NBC is a bunch of Right Winger NeoCons. Even Keith Olberman, he supports CFR candidates like Hillary, and I'm pretty sure Keith Olberman is a CFR member. I have boycotted NBC and I only watch MSNBC to debunk their lies. NBC has destroyed our country, they are the terrorists.
Thank You Congressman Kucinich, I know you will win New York hands down. Thank you for being consistent and representing the American people. +5 fav
Dennis4President! Looks like the number of views of this video is being counted by a Diebold machine. It's been 755 since this morning....I demand a recount!
kucinich never mentioned Mike Gravel's exclusion so stop your crying KUCINICH, you need to take a time out and reflect on why you didn't mention GRAVEL'S exclusion when you were in the debate and MIke wasn't you selfish bastard
it may be slightly hypocritical for him not to have mentioned Gravel when he was excluded first, but I wouldn't exactly say it makes Kucinich a selfish bastard. The guy is a champion of the voiceless. You gotta respect that. Edwards/Obama 08! Kucinich for Secretary of Dept. of PEACE!!
furthermore, despite your pretense and your condescension, I wish it upon you. Here we are, on the same team, and you think you have a monopoly on clarity and political strategy. I am glad you are voting for Dennis. But my vote is my own. Peace!
Yeah, keep listening to our television, which purposely excluded Kucinich. Obviously you did not watch the video, because if you did you would understand why we DO NOT need to listen to our televisions.
I saw him in Portsmouth, NH. Thank you for coming to our town. Get his book called "The Courage to Survive" and you'll understand the life that made him who he is.
I agree, it is a great story. I also found A Prayer for America an amazing book. Dennis Kucinich is a true leader. He gets it right the first time as he says, which is what a "leader" is in my mind.
Dennis tells it like it is as always. It's disgusting just how far NBC/GE went to keep Dennis out of the debate. After he won the first court ruling, NBC/GE should have just let it go. The fact that they pursued it further with an "emergency appeal" (what was the emergency?!) shows just how much disdain they have for the American public and our right to democracy.
Kucincih is the only one WORTHY to vote for ..He is the one one who tells the WHOLE TRUTH ! Join this Revolt with us !Call email everyone you know ..Kucinch has my vote ..
Kucinich was barred from the Iowa, New Hampshire and now Nevada debates. Wigthout Kucinich there is NO debate. All three tweedledums say the same
blather and the media doesn't call them on it.They all say they are for universal health care when they are not. They are for mandatory health insurance as a payback to their corporate sponsors. What a travesty this censorship is.
Thank you for speaking up Dennis. I have included this video on my blog which can be found linked on my Youtube channel. When you speak, you speak not only for the USA but for the World Dennis and I am proud that there are honest politicians left who care about the people. I may not be able to vote but I can promote your position, and I do.
NBC/MSNBC claims that they excluded Dennis because of his poor performance in the New Hampshire and Iowa Caucuses. I urge all of Dennis' supporters to contact NBC/MSNBC and demand that Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, and Ron Paul be excluded from the NBC/MSNBC Republican debates for the same reason.
When they fail to exclude Thompson, Paul, and Giuliani it will only show thier hypocrisy.
i am not American but i like this guy my opinion, he will be good for the Yanks, but then again anything will be better than that puppet they have on show now!
You know how it is starting to boil in politics once Dennis mentioned "the forbidden". He is really really brave. He is a very courageous almost saint-like politician.
Dennis is the only candidate who actually represents (the most fasionable buzzword on the mouths of the sos, professional politicians, Clinton, Edwards, and Obama, that is, the CEOs), change.
The only candidate who would pass the Martin Luther King Test is Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, whose platform for peace, truly universal health care, a living wage, and an end to corporate domination of American life harkens back to that "shining moment" in the Sixties that King mentioned, when there were "hopes" and "new beginnings." But the corporate media has caused the Kucinich campaign to disappear from coverage and televised debate.
The candidates who *were* included in this debate should stand up for the rights of the people they say they represent and demand that every candidate be heard. There is no excuse for their self-serving silence on this issue.
Exactly. Their silence makes them complicit. It makes you realize these people will not come to any citizen's rescue for free speech or otherwise. However, Kucinich did comment that Obama did say something at the debate about him being excluded. I don't know what that comment was, though, does anybody else? Clinton and Edwards didn't say a word and let their fellow candidate be silenced out in the cold. Nice, huh?
Why are ABC & MSNBC helping Neo-Cons shape the democratic political landscape by excluding Kucinich from debates (NH & NV)? Kucinich informs us here with this video.
As a former broadcast journalist moderating political debates, I found it imperative to invite and include ALL of the candidates. ABC & MSNBC betray the American trust, so maybe their FCC charters should be revisited.
I think it's absolutely disgusting that the Main Stream Media in this country believes that they have the right to select our candidates and, therefore,or president for us. Whether it's Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul this has got to stop. The American people deserve better than this.
I'm not major. I'm a lone voice in the desert. You would not believe how the Bush mindset crushed my small weekly rag 4 years ago when I publicly opposed the war.
As a Nevada resident, I'm absolutely APPALLED by this exclusion. It's like corporate interests are electing the next president. Sure, he doesn't have much of a chance of getting the Democratic nomination, but the country needs to hear Dennis Kucinich's viewpoint to help shape the Democratic agenda. He's really the only truly progressive voice in this election. COME ON, PEOPLE!
I hear approximately only 10% of registered voters in Nevada actually show up to caucus. Is this true?? I sure hope you drag all your friends and family out to caucus for Dennis! With such a small turnout, if all Dennis supporters show up and you drag everyone else along, Dennis is sure to get a decent percentage and it may be enough to at least get him into another debate. Please do it! Thank you.
This is the first caucus since I moved to NV; I suspect turnout will be low, but nobody seems to have any idea of who will show up. Hell's to the yeah, I'll be there, along with a bunch of people who've been converted to the DK side. It's amazing how many people agree with what he says once they find out what he stands for.
I'm a Ron Paul supporter, but I have a lot of respect for Congressman Kucinich. I'm disgusted by the unfair treatment he is receiving, and the blatant disregard that the media has. I don't agree on all of his issues, but I'd feel a lot safer with Kucinich as president than any of the so called "front-runners".
GO MAN GO calling out the war profiteers -- corporations with severe conflicts of interest like NBC/GE
He's the only candidate willing to address the sham story of 9/11... to fight in public for accountable elections,
for not invading and occupying for LIES, against funding of said same, for impeachment of those who would so wantonly kill, against NAFTA, etc etc. for ...... for the children!
Dennis Kucinich is the only candidate who is for THE PEOPLE. NBC (aka GE) are at war with THE PEOPLE. All the corporate media is. Dennis Kucinich is a GOOD and HONEST and HARDWORKING man of principle. And that scares the pants off of the many corrupt people in our government and our corporate media.
NBC was so scared that they went to the supremeLESS court in Nevada and the supremeLESS court overturned the decision by the lower court. It was bush vs Gore all over again. Pure CORRUPTION.
NV supreme court overturned lower court order, ruling on behalf of MSNBC. Yea, it sucks, but higher court said the order was a prior restraint on msnbc's 1st amendment rights.
I am sooooo mad at NBC and I will never buy a GE product ever - that includes light bulbs, silicone sealer and circuit breakers. And don't buy their appliances, go with Whirlpool or Frigidaire.
Yeah - talk about private monetary interests over-riding public interest...it was so wrong to ditch him like this.

15 Billion a month in Iraq is costing everyone in this country the same as a car payment on a new luxury car. It could pay for a college education for all of our kids. It could buy us 15,000 2MW windmills per month to bring us energy independence. It could buy us healthcare. Do the math, prove me wrong.
milofonbil 4 years ago 9
yea but that money goes to americans, it doesn't go to iraqis, they call it trickle down economics...so americans are actually getting the money anyway...
wasy35 4 years ago
Ok .. so you build bombs. They blow up in Iraq.
Then the money is gone. It employed some people to build, but it did not create additional wealth. On the other hand, if you educate our kids, they have earned higher earning power. The investment is not gone, it's still working for you. The same would be for the windmill, the car, even health care. Healthy workers are more productive.
HiTekVagabond 4 years ago 2
excellent points, i couldn't agree more, but all these people who go around saying we are spending all this money in iraq, this is false, the money is actually spent on americans, slight bit on iraqis...

the money is spent on americans? i don't really see how. most of the money goes to big corporations, like raytheon/GE and what do they do with it? they buy more airtime and spend it on their lobby.
besides, the issue is not the money. the issue is whether you want to be living in a real democracy or not.

Why? Why vote?

He makes a valid point, but at the same time you can't blame NBC for wanting to exclude him. Remember, he was included all of the debates up until his showing in the primaries. He received only a fraction of the votes of Bill Richardson who dropped out of the race. So you can't blame them for not viewing him as a serious candidate at that point.
waste234 4 years ago
Can't blame them? Can't blame them? What planet are you on? NBC has only the duty to INFORM us, when not Entertaining us (which they do a horrible job at anyway, just how many Law & Orders are there?) They just didn't want his anti-establishment voice heard, plain and simple
dj4monie 4 years ago
Did you even read what I wrote? NBC did include him... until he showed a lack of any real support in the primaries.
waste234 4 years ago
NBC invited him AFTER the primaries.
RaechelMW 4 years ago
But even in debates prior to the primaries they would hardly call on him. Their questions to the candidates were softballs. Dennis had to ask himself the question of impeachment and answer it, in order to bring it to the debate. They instead asked him about UFOs and later attacked him as a nut case.

Thank you Sir,
Freedom of speech is the concept of being able to speak freely without censorship.
Nobody tried to censor any member of the press using the NBC medium, neither did anyone try to censor the medium itself (whether the first amendment applies to the media service is debatable, because it is only the medium through which members of the press may "publish" the information they gathered.)
In any case, this must be appealed.

The only candidate who would pass the Martin Luther King Test is Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, whose platform for peace, truly universal health care, a living wage, and an end to corporate domination of American life harkens back to that "shining moment" in the Sixties that King mentioned, when there were "hopes" and "new beginnings." But the corporate media has caused the Kucinich campaign to disappear from coverage and televised debate.

badgerstew 4 years ago 7
