Yes, the video is from February 25, 1996, STS-75. It is well known in UFology and used over and over lol.

Both the videos show the video, the zero g experiement was the start of that video, and the maker of the video inluded the STS-75 footage to show the similarity.

People think the floaters are unintelligent jellyfish like creatures, which is why they were being compared to the single celled organisms.

This video used the footage to show a swarm effect in space.
