I think this song is akward because Cinderella really never complains that much, rather than just doing the work. So a song totally to complaing of cleaning dosen't work, she always gets the chores done on time.

This is too literal. I'm glad they did it the way they did. It's a nice song but it has a Snow White/early Disney short animated film vibe that doesn't get you as invested in the story. Cleaning should not be fun for her.

Lovely song! I don't think it would have been good in the movie though because if the movie had this AND the scene with the mice making the dress, the story would not have progressed very well. Maybe if the mice making the dress scene was replaced by this it would work.

P.S. can you please upload more deleted stuff from Cinderella. I read about other deleted scenes on Wikipedia and would like to see them. Also, upload the deleted scenes from Lady and the Tramp as well please. No one has yet

This song seems to have been a precursor in some ways to the "Sing, Sweet Nightingale" song while she's scrubbing the floor... basically in that it's about work and it has lots of duplicates of her, like all the copies (with their own voices) reflected in the bubbles.

I know sometimes we can get mad because we love a deleted song that never made it in. Mr. Disney was always concerned with peoples enjoyment & the quality of his movies (a trait rarely seen now). I'm sure he made the best decision he could at the time. I'm glad the deleted songs get time to shine!
