My wife has had this for last 3 years after having her gallbladder removed because she was having constant gallbladder attacks with out stones. She is a young mother of the age 24 and it has been difficult, she is going for a ercp next week and we are really praying that it takes away her pain. Almost all of her relationships have been seriously damaged as they all think she is psychotic and needs drug recovery because the doctors are treating her with medications trying to manage the paint
Same here, MRI will only pick up stones bigger than 5mm,bile duct is only 4mm when normal. I had an endoscopy ultrasound nd confirmed no stones and the pain came back. today I got told I had SOD and will require my Sphincter cut so that the bile runs straight out and dosn't build up and send me to A&E again..

I have had my gall bladder removed and I still get gall bladder attacks which are so very painful..They gave me an MRI and found NO stones.
Any Advise would be welcome..
