  • Debt = surplus Progressive math, lean forward, right over the cliff.

  • MSNBC Rocks and is the only reliable commentary available (other than BBC of-course).

  • I didn't know Eddie Munster had a new TV show!

  • Rachel Madow is one of the few media personalities I dislike more than Glenn Beck. Her leftist bias makes Faux News actually seem legit. :/

  • @ChibiDarksai Yeah I am with you. The propaganda plugs she does for anti austerity and how great the Social security system works. What crap. Tell people a fairy tale and they follow like children.

  • Raschel Maddow is hot

  • FreedomWorks !!!! Rocks!!! Love it!!! Join!!!

  • Rachel is pretty clueless on this one. Freedomworks has been around for twenty some years preaching basically the same thing. Now Obamacare comes around and people don't like it, insurance companies don't like it, so what is their recourse? They fund a group that also doesn't like it of course. She implies that because they are funded by those people that is why they are spreading that message when in fact it is the other way around.

  • @Biggnuncio It's not grassroots though, they are another neocon organization that promotes corporate rights through retards known as "teabaggers"

  • See the new FreedomWorks commercial: watch?v=pv2_oex7vg0

    (And then see watch?v=eMUVFctJ2Xw)

  • We have Rachael's show on every night, she is the best!

  • Ms Maddow is a complete and utter Left wing loon...Period

  • @vinner38 ya cuz she exsposes fukking rich bastards that are fukking this country up

  • Wow she has a big set of balls! Lets defend a President who lied on National TV when he supposedly was to clarify the facts. Passed a bill against the will of the MAJORITY of those he is supposed to represent and then discredit them. Saying they are crazy and stupid and controlled by HMO's. Koolaid anyone?

  • @joe035 we elected him fukstik you didnt boo hoo

  • @1949b Regrettably I voted for him too, but will not make that mistake twice.

  • @joe035 what teeparty do u belong to

  • @1949b You don't need to take time off work, make up a sign to let the powers that be know your dissapointment. I'll do that in November when we vote.

  • @joe035 ya ill mail in my vote ya

  • I can not stand this dyke she is a big part of the downfall of MSNBc.

  • "How To Be A Healthcare Whore, Volume I"

  • Yeah angelcitynut, liberals do this kind of thing all the time, but usually their interests are for creating programs that provide service for everyone.

If you pay attention to the report it, is showing that these are high paid PR firms backed by large pharmaceutical companies employing these tactics now.

Most people understand that the only interest for large corporations is keeping profit over actually providing services.

  • Liberals do this all the time.wheres the outrage at them?

  • dyke

  • Just call her a dyke, rather then provide info against her statements. If you're interested in name calling, I'm sure there's a playground in your area that can suit your behavior.

  • ReanimatedReagan,

They don't have anything other than name calling, so what can we expect? They don't have facts on their side so they have to invent newer and scarier names to call their opposition, such as Racist, Socialist, Muslim, Anti-American, Communist, Anti-Christ... who "pals around with terrorists".

If they actually had something LEGIT to use in their arguments they would, instead they turn to this kind of BS because THEY HAVE NOTHING and they know it... and we know i too.

  • @BootBazaar ya thats why we won the election

  • Cassandra2946: based on your responses youre probably pushing 200 lbs, have greasy uncombed hair, finished the 8th grade, rushed to get a job at Walmart and drive some cheap foreign car. You believe people like Beck the Turd, Rush the Sleaze and Freedom Works are enlighten people that provide you with all the info you ever need to know. If youre not any of the above then you should stop sounding like you are.

  • oh ya, that's an adams apple

  • looks like someone is looking a Ann Coulter again...

  • America bankrupt:

102 trillion for SS & medicare

25 trillion for TARP & bailouts

53 trillion plundered from other trusts

Every single American man, woman & child owes over $600K in FED Gov debt

The US dollar will collapse within the next 1 to 2 years

Check out Rockefeller & Senate Bills 773 & 778 attempting to end American access to the Internet

Americans lost all but no. 3 of their Bill of Rights; Geithner has been wrong about everything for 15 straight years!

1 in 10 on US food stamps!

  • The Debate on health care is getting ugly out there. I am on Minnesota-Care a State Run Health care system and I wouldn't change a thing! If I get sick I don't worry about getting dropped or going bankrupt I just go to the doctor and get treatment for my sickness! BTW For all ppl who say they don't want socialized medicine we already do Medicare, Medicaid, and the ER are ALL SOCIALIZED!!!!!!!!!

  • The Government is a growing Tumor & the illegal privately owned FED Reserve is its blood supply!

The 2008 Social Security and Medicare Trustees Reports show the combined unfunded liability of these two programs has reached $101.7 trillion in today's dollars!

TARP plus debt to illegal privately owned FED Res is 25 trillion

Amount plundered from other Federal Gov trusts: 53 trillion

Every man, woman, child in USA owes $600K in FED Gov debt

Americans have the Government they deserve!

  • As always, a brilliant dawgnpony clip. Further, ever further.

  • The whitehouse has released the new realitycheck website which addresses many of the myths you have been hearing. If you have not gotten it in your email, I have a link to it on my profile in both the side bar and the comment section. Thanks.

  • accorguy...And you are an amazing, major dick.pls restrain to your channel where you adore daily Reagan

  • It is this type of investigative, sift-thru-the-bullshit comprehensive journalism that elevates Rachel to a level that NO other person on air can touch. The woman is truly unbelievable. I'd put her up against ANY republican on ANY subject and my money would be on her wiping the floor with them. I actually saw this the night it aired and was both floored and astonished by both the news and her in depth analysis of it all. Thanks DAP.

  • CHEETAH69, I am in total agreement with you. Every evening I look forward to Rachel Maddow for her concise and thorough reports and the oodles of factual information she provides to her viewers. She is the best.

Thank you for your comments and support.

  • The Republican's only care about you until you make it through the birth canel! Then you are on your own!

  • Very informative, thanks for posting.

2:06 is why this is flagged.

  • Thank you for demonstrating you have nothing of importance to share.

  • and you are such a dick

  • rachel's done some extensive reporting on this "grassroots" insurance industry operation. i don't see it being a positive thing for them.

when i watch these videos of people shouting down others, it looks bad. it plays beyond any political debate and one simply feels bad for the people they're doing this to.

i see grandpa and grandma behaving like little brats and simply looking pathetic, incoherent, and childish.

if anything, this should help solidify democrats to push forward.

  • tomitstube you make an excellent point. If they had some logical points, then, heck, I might even join them! But they don't , so these "folks", some who look like Medicare recipients, go around shouting stuff (not sure what) and carrying "Just Say No" signs. They are embarrassing themselves, but seem too ignorant to realize it. Their behavior can only make Single Payer Universal Healthcare look far more attractibve to the public!

  • You're calling them brats! They are from the Greatest generation. They fought for this great country. They've seen their friends and family members die for YOU and YOU call them brats? You are so disrespectful. Now my husband fights for this country and when he came home people have had the disrespect to call him a murderer.

  • "disrespectful"? this is a joke right? these/you idiots shout down people trying to have a meaningful discussion... and you're calling me disrespectful? you got to be fucking kidding me!

so why don't you hypocrites honor those who died for this country and treat their families when they're sick? 1/4 of all homeless are vets. quit waving your flag and shitting on your neighbor.

  • What I'm so not against veteran benifets. They are heros and should be treated as such. Let's just agree to disagree and let 2010 decide.

  • I just added a link to an easier to read version of the bill to my profile as well as the answers to many of the most common questions people have regarding health care for any of you who are interested in knowing the truth.

  • This has become more than just about health care, it's become about Obama and his Blackness. The frother right, the wingnuts, the whack pack, they are "useful idiots" to the powerful people pulling their strings. They love to bring Hitler into this and equate Obama with Hitler: well guess what, behind the brownshirts, behind the Nazi Party, behind Hitler himself, was the business community of Germany. They used all of them.

  • Katavideo, and they call Republicans rude. Can't put name calling past liberals though.

  • Dawgnpony, I would be upset too if my congressmen wasn't listening. Democrates knew this was going to happen. That's why they were pushing for it before the August recess.

  • Is anyone else covering this? Obviously fox-news-for-idiots won't, but what about the big three and cnn? if these stories only appear on msnbc, the mushy middle isn't going to learn about it.

also, dick armey is a criminal and a traitor to the People of the United States Of America, he has v.d. and smells like an unkept stable on a humid 98 degree day.

  • so a black man yelling in his own house = arrestable offence,

mobs of old white people yelling heckling and disrupting public health events = democracy in action?

    the repubelickan twisted logic, amazing

  • Excellent point.

  • No but union workers in Tampa beat up a black man in Tampa for his conservative views. Don't make this a race thing, because it's not.

  • Well, when the peoples questions cannot be answered by the people actually voting on this bill. Shouldn't it be a concern?

  • chantavongsy88, these people aren't asking questions in a civil and orderly manner, it's a "Shout Down", a repeat of the 'Brooks Brothers Riot' during the 2000 election.

  • They could be answered if they were allowed to be asked in the first place.. but the Republicans have decided that we don't have the right to ask any questions.. instead they would much rather support those in the pocket of big Pharma and the Insurance companies and be there puppets.

  • This is absolutely astroturf. I called the GOP yesterday and they told me so. Anyone who wants to know what happened during the call should visit the comment section of my profile. Call the number yourself and ask them why they are doing it.. they won't deny it...

  • That is such a lie Michael Steele has publicly denied it many times.

  • He should tell the lady who answers the phone at his office to do the same thing. Not only did she confirm that they are behind these so called protesters but she was quite proud of it.. call them yourslef and see.

  • Has anyone walked into a private hospital to visit a loved one, unable to take care of them at home, that smells like shit?

They dare to carry a christian name and under pay their under qualified employees. For profit is for suffering.

  • People will still believe the lies when it is thrown in their face enough. These private healthcare insurance companies will spend millions to defeat the healthcare reform or any other policies. They are in it for profits and not people.

  • No one is saying don't REGULATE the insuance companies, but there are different ways of doing so. Now we who not only pay for our own insurance will now have to pay for those who don't, and you know I don't mind paying for the elderly, disabled and children. I just hate that we also have to pay for the mother who has 7 babies on medicaid and then have the government take care of them for her, while she collects the money.

  • chantha, my husband and I have healthcare insurance through both our jobs. We are retired now and pay dearly. They can deny me coverage anytime they damn well please. News point here. We are already paying for healthcare for the elderly, children, vets and more. I am wondering this Jan, how much both ins of ours is going up. We need this reform. For Republicans to hire goons to disrupt these mtg's is crasy.

  • Yes, there is need for reform, I completely agree with you, but this is not the way to go. I was at my town hall meeting and I was NOT paid. I pray that you're a young retiree because the government won't give you treatments for very long. I'm saying this because I know nurses from Canada who fear this because they see people die needlessly waiting for treatment.

  • chansy: "I was at my town hall meeting and I was NOT paid."

I've not seen anyone accusing you to be a paid shill and yet you continually bring it up. "Methinks the lady doth protest too much." - Shakespeare

  • 3slimdog: For Republicans to hire goons to disrupt these mtg's is crasy.

I do believe hire means pay to do a job right?

  • chanthavongsy, About your other comment. My husband was in nam and served and he was called names too. I guess you can say he served his country too. And he is still a Democrat. I see on your channel that you are 20 yrs old. All i have to say is look what GROW UP means. You are wet behind the ears and on an adult video.

  • Secondly I'm one of the only young people I know that is against this bill and I guaranty that you are one of the only aged citizens who is for it. I'm sorry about your situation and I know there is need for reform but this bill is out there and there are better solutions. This is a major issue and should be treated as such. So you're saying that the actual freedom organization were the people getting so upset in this video or they just informed the people about what is going on?

  • chanthavongsy, You must be the only young person around with that comment. You need to get around to see other young people that are republicans lashing out because their older parents told them.

  • Well you just said that I'm Republican because I'm young and naive. Then you're going to go on to say that there are so many young Republicans because their older parents told them to be? Well wouldn't everyone be a Republican then, both young and old... So where do Demacrates come from?

  • I refuse to argue with you.

  • Wise decision Slim. "When I was a child..." etc.

  • Well I wish you and your husband the best of luck with everything. And don't stop pushing for Healthcare reform, because we can at least both agree to that being needed, even though we may not agree on how it gets done.

  • Well, I wish you the best too. We can agree on that.

  • DNP, loved the Hamlet quote here. LMHO

  • chanthavongsy, What town hall mtg were you at. A Republican one? My friend owns a vacation home in canada and lives in the U.S. They would rather see doctor there. I can tell you are Republican. You are full of shit. I don't have gov't health insurance, both husband and I have private that we pay for dearly through our jobs and is now retired. You obviously don't comprehend what you read. Freedom already admitted to causing uproars at Democratic mtgs. Look it up.

  • Well I would first like to thank your husband for serving his country and I respect all political views if there were no system of checks and balances then this country would not be as great as it is.

  • Chanta, although, I do agree with you solely on the welfare leeches. They must be stopped

  • CC, as with everything, someone will abuse the system, however, while the conservatives, libertarians and republicans want to throw the baby out with the bath water over the few, the democrats, progressives and liberals will tolerate the small amount of abuse for the greater good of the many that are in need.

I'll choose tolerance and kindness over greed and bitterness every time.

  • I think you should work in a hospital just for a month or so to see what a large amount it actually is. I agree with you that people need help and the money should not stop for them but they should look into what's really going on more because a lot of times it's obvious. Like when you say you need food stamps and Medicaid but you drive a new car and own an iPhone. I'm also far from being greedy or bitter and most Americans are regardless of their political views.

  • Just so you know, chanthavongsy88, if the mother of 7 doesn't get healthcare, we'll have to pay for it anyway. Republicans love to preach the "do for yourself" edict, but don't seem to fully understand that not all things are so black and white. Healthcare costs in the country are kicking our asses largely due to the uninsured who need med. help and have to resort to going to the emergency rooms.

  • Right on CHEETAH69!

  • cheetah69,

Yes you are right but if we would actually try to bill her after maybe having one child on Medicaid (because accidents do happen) she might not choose to have as many children. Also many Medicaid patients do misuse the ER and we can't send them away even if it's clear it's not an emergency for liability reasons.

  • She would be billed anyway. And since we can't stop folks from having children, she just might have another one. And guess what? We'd have to pay for that too. Bottom line, the er can no longer stand as the de facto healthcare for the uninsured. THAT IS WHAT'S KILLING THE ECONOMY. $2 trillion a year on healthcare is spent.

  • Medicare operates to care for people, while the health industry is in business to make money for its investors (and pay the exorbitant management fees). Two different goals, two different results. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Furthermore, medicare's 3-5% overhead vs. the 25%-35% overhead for private insurers should tell people something.

  • People might also want to note that the very same "Representatives" standing in the way of a single payer plan for the rest of us, are themselves benefiting from "government run health care". - Do you hear them complaining?

  • Currently, the people in the US pay twice as much per capita for health care as people in other nations and yet we get a fraction of their quality of care. - Why is that? Because in the US, the health care industry is siphoning money out of actual health care to pay obscene salaries (and bonuses) and profit.

  • im4wur: although the health care delivery system-- hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, labs, pharmacies, etc-- need reform, too, we need to be clear about what's on the table. Parasitic health care insurance monopolies-- who don't provide health care, at all-- are greedily sucking trillions of dollars out of & away from health care; & in the name of profits before people, harming (daily) millions & killing (yearly) thousands with their business practices; and it must be stopped.

  • I couldn't agree more.
