Shows you no nothing. How long did it take to defeat Iraq 3 weeks. How long did it take to capture all afghanistan cities only 2 weeks. First Gulf war Iraq military including 2000 iraqi tanks destroyed with just airstrikes.
If you knew anything about war then its actually considered that the US is an occupying force in the country.
Every occupying force always has resistance. Germany in world war 2 has resistance in every country they occupied but it still counted them as defeating them
