@Corollaa93 R53 Mini Cooper S's have super chargers......the 15% SC pulley is 15% smaller than the factory pulley on the supercharger. The 15% pulley rotates faster than the factory, thus more power. I have a 17% which adds even more. But anything smaller than 15% is a liability.
@3tgoodhome BHP= Brake Horse Power ... which is not measured at the wheels. If it was, there would be a 12-18% loss due to transmission, pullies, etc (parasitic) He made it all back by adding the pulley... ya clown
I didn't do a dyno before the pulley installation but I've seen other '05 stock dynos at around 152hp to the wheels. I pulled 184hp with the pulley. The '05-'06 cars are stronger from the factory than the earlier ones.
Hey thanks. It took me several hours to change it. The time consuming part was taking off stuff so I could jack up the motor. Make sure you have a good puller to take off the old pulley. I purchased my pulley from Cravenspeed because they loan their heavy duty puller for free. I've heard some of the other pullers breaking so I went with Cravenspeed.
can anyone plz explain whats a pulley?

A stock S comes with 175bhp ya clown

it's not wheelhorsepower. and also that number is for the new turbo S. The 2005 has 168hp at the flywheel. so it's about 140-150 at the wheels

Weird. I'm looking at my owners handbook and it clearly reads. Bhp 175
