@themightyjoseph Sadly I only goldpan as a hobby, and don't live in Australia. Although from what ive heard gold panning occurs in the outback of Australia. An extremely hot place where temperatures can reach 120 degrees fahreheit, and incredibly dry. Im sure that it is possible to live fairly comfortably, but not unless your willing to spend 10-12 hours in unbearable heat only to find 1-2 nuggets a week or month.
