The question is whether reasonable people can bring their level of trust to the point where they can jointly develop and implement "Plan B" solutions to deal with trouble. Will they unite to strongly subdue it, even if that means taking action against their own people, or will there come a point where they refuse to do so and simply retreat to their original positions, one against the other?
