  • just restart your computer. i have this all the time on 4 seperate computers. it is an infecting worm

  • I had this a year or 2 back. Thank you.

  • I am using RemoveIT Pro from incodesolutions, com it is good it is fast and I am satisfied with it!

  • Thank you, this video was very helpful.

  • how can i delete this fuck shit AVAST anti-virus pro because my computer get fucked of this shit fake anti-virus

  • yea but this VIRUS dont evin let me press CTRL+ALT DELET!!!

  • @Vladkhomich

u have to do this in safe mode, the virus doesn't work there because it only runs programs that it came with

  • Yiu have to go to Safe Mode, then go to safe mode networking and go to one of the administrator accounts and download an anti virus protecter, do a full scan. :] Hope this helped

  • This virus isnt this easy to get rid of. It blocks any executable files, even regedit, task manager, search, and anything else you try. I've run Malewarebytes (which by MANY other posts say wipes it out) 3 times with no luck, and the files av9, av2009, and antivirus 2009 are nowhere in my computer...good luck on getting rid of this crap.

  • this helped

  • I need people to help show it to my pc somehow black and white why? can a help? please

  • Unix is so archaic yet... we have less problems with this garbage. Windows 7 is flashy, hottest codecs, Most advanced OS, yet it still has this problem with virus. After having money taken from me, I only do business on a mac which is Unix. And let me tell you this Snow Leopard may be new but its still based on an archaic operating system. NT leads the way. If hackers wanted to they would reap havoc on Unix but... they dont... so weird. maybe hackers use unix.

  • The one way to be sure you are rid of ALL malware is to format and reinstall Windows. Anyone whose security is up to date and doesnt click dodgy links shouldn't get this in the 1st place.

  • damn thing gave my computer an STD. and smart as hell, because it blocked malware, and even blocked me going to to sites that would give me information on how to eliminate it. Instead it kept taking me to obscene porn sites. Not the "general" stuff young men look at, but real raunchy stuff. And once i got Malware the virus tagged it and blocked it from even starting. By the grace of god i finally found an original link to Malware and that was able to boot. but geeezz

  • Bad Demo...This rogue AV is even smarter now and blocks Task Manager, Registry editing and even command prompt.

Do you have a procedure to delete it after such restrictions???

  • If the system restore is working in your computer you can try to restore at a prior date before the possible date of infection, and regarding the disabled task manager etc, I have covered those problems in the article, the link can be found in the description of this video

  • its gotten smarter, yes.

when my pc was starting, i was able to ctrl alt del into task man, then i killed something like "jk something" looked real suspicious, and i know my processes well enough to spot it looking suspect.

i stopped process, and i am now able to get into task manager and call up mcaffee...scanning now, we'll see if it catches it.

WINDOWS DEFENDER DOESNT RECOGNIZE THIS VERSION...i had it before and defender killed it...not this varient.

  • yeah today i got that Virus thing

    because my Mcfee expired

what pissed me off the most , anti virus kept spamming Porno at me

but i downloaded Malware bytes and it got rid of it in 40 minutes

  • @paulpokeking CAN U PLZ TELL ME HOW U DID IT ????? SO THE PORN THIS KEEPS ON COMING UP AND IT DOESNT LET ME DO ANYTHING SOO HOW DID U INSTALL THE MALWARE BYTES????? HELP PLZ

  • i downloaded av2009.

i deleted its folder and its files,

but i still have an infection. and

when i try to open up spybot s&d,

i have to it up manually(idk how to do that)

my computer pops up with the "open with"

thing. if you can help i would be very greatful.

  • please send me the hijackthis log file as mentioned in the article - link in the description of this video

  • I cant open my task manager it tells me it is infected. I even downloaded and saved the removeal to my computer now it wont even let me open that the one I have is Total Security 2009. I hate it and I cant get rid of it PLEASE help me.

  • please see the article link in the description of this video and send me hijackthis log

  • Ok sorry for that sentence I with scanned with avast and windows defender without result!

I scanned with avast and windows defender without result.

But which one of those firewalls is the best for me? Comodo or Zonealarm?

  • comodo firewall is more advanced than zonealarm firewall.

  • Hello, nice video. I have a question here. Malware bytes says that I have ip infection 222.72.180.72 this just a exampel ive got from Malware bytes. But the strange thing is that Avast antivirus doesent say a shit!

I with scanned with Avast and windows defender without result.

Is this a fake alart from Malware??

    PLEASE HELP! Thank you!

  • do not worry about that, almost all antivirus are not equipped to deal with fake/rogue applications. You need to have a standalone firewall like comodo free firewall or zonealarm free firewall to get better protection

  • this has been the best video dat ive seen here n applied.. been free ov dat bloody PERSONAL ANTIVIRUS 2009 INSTANTLY AFTER THE APPLICATION OV the process shown here. EVERYBODY SHOULD TRY THIS BECOZ IT WORKSSSS.... THANX BRO FOR DAT AWESOME TUTORIAL... KEEP WORKIN LYK DISSS...

  • How do i stop Optimal.exe ? do i have to fear the pony ?

  • if optimal(dot)exe is not part of a legitimate app on your computer, you can delete it from the hard disk. If it is visible in task manager, means it starts with windows. Open the system configuration utility. Start > run - type msconfig - press ok - select Startup tab - expand middle column - locate optimal(dot)exe, confirm that indeed it is an unwanted app, then uncheck it, press apply, press ok, restart the computer.

  • hey man i came up to ur step until the end prcess part, but i remeber deleting my file from before so i assume it was visible, but i still have it on that program on my taskbar

  • download/ install and run a free software called HijackThis from trendsecure(dot)com, it will create a log file, save it. mail it to support(at)comprolive(dot)com or paste it in youtube personal message

  • can you tell me an alternative way to remove this legitimate app?

  • this is not a legitimate app, it is illegitimate. Please read the answer below.

  • I have this same problem, Optimal(dot)exe

but could you make a video showing foxmoose and myself how to remove it properly?

  • again i must say, if i can see the hijackthis log generated on your computer, i will be in a better position to help you

  • i cant find the file on programs is there any other names for it

  • it keeps changing the names. Please search on this site, threatexpert com . You may come across several analysis reports with the latest names of this infection

  • task manager cannot be opened

  • I hate this fucking faggots who made Antivirus 2009.

Antivirus 2008 nearly DESTROYED my other computer.

  • i can't open my task manager! it's blocked my the spyware :/

    what do i do??

  • yeah i agree its virus 2009 , dogeerawr , u cant open your task manager means you still have some virus , or maybe the virus changed your registry , i had it before .. you should try download the new IObit Security 360 ( free ) or the 15/30/90 norton trail

  • Hmm. I had this a while ago and I removed it using Malwarebytes'. However I can't open task manager now. Any solutions?

  • it saying warning task manager infected what do i do

  • omg thx thx thx

  • this didn't work for me, but I think I had more hten just antivirus 2009, but it was calling itself antivirus 2009. everytime i ran smitfraud, malwarebytes or anything it said it had fixed it and it didn't. and then my computer got to the point where it would just start up and then shut down. R.I.P. my files. I had to reformat earlier today.

  • it worked for me back in 2008 over the summer

  • Ill tell you one thing when this happened to my comp i was so mad i wanted to Rip my Brain outta my fuckin head!

  • I can't believe I was so foolish to fall for their alert. I remember when they tricked me in downloading this junk. After than my PC behaved like a mad man. I've been losing space rapidly, and lost 10 GB because of this Anti virus 2009, since I install it. Before it, it run normally. I tried to remove it but nothing helped. This however did. Thanks a bunch.

  • It not antivirus 2009 it virus 2009*!

i cannot watch this vid because my internet connection is, can someone answer me the reccomenden step! please answer or Pm me,

    sorry my bad english.

  • please see the link given at the top right corner of this page on youtube

  • srajure what products do you recommend? i got rid of this but i get pop ups for it and other websites such as zoombli. bitdefender and malwarebyes dont find any problems

  • it seems that you have removed some files of it and some others are still there. Look in the system sonfiguration utility - startup for any suspicious entries and remove them. I do not recommend any programs because there are none. You have to remove these things manually

  • Favorited for easy access just in case I get hit by this s.o.b.

So thanks in advance, just in case.

  • ty for helping me with that fuckin virus thx soo much dude

  • Thank you for taking the time and effort to educate us on how to solve this problem.

  • Dear Srajure:

Your step by step instructions in the video worked great. It restored our computer to normal functioning. We were getting a horrible memory dump every few minutes, and the blue screen of death.

What a service to the community you are performing.

  • hey man thanks i didnt use all of your stuff but the things u suggested to delete did slow it down alot and then i got good symantec stuff. its gone now and im really happ. for everyone with the virus still just keep deleting stuff and eventually it wont have enough to run. oncea agin thank you srajure

  • sir your technique worked for ending the process , and i use ccleaner as well , but i still get the pop ups , and espicially the fake "free scan" it only happens of firefox , but the internet explorer is not even working.

can you please help me !

  • have you read the article at the top right corner, it will give you more insight into the problem

  • USE Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware, and a good AntiVirus program (read the more info link on the top right here)

CCleaner +these programs together should do the trick. Srajure shows the basics to make it work. (good advice)

  • dont worry buddy, srajure is awesome... he really knows what he is talking about i had the same EXACT problem couple months ago and thanks to him its all perfect...just follow his step by step instruction and you'll be fine i will guarantee you

  • One way to remove smitfraud is to get kaspersky and a hard drive to usb adapter. then turn off the infected computer and take out the hard drive. install kaspersky on a different computer. (if you do not have another then use a friends or buy a new one.) then plug the hard drive into the other computer and plug the power cord into the hard drive. run a full scan on the computer and the hard drive. smitfraud should be gone after that but to be sure, run a full scan on the infected aswell.

  • thank you tiggerbiggo. This is definitely the best way to remove the virus, if it is not letting you use your computer normally. You can use any anivirus program to do this. I do not consider any antivirus program any better than any other

  • you are welcome.this was not actually my idea to do that. i got it from my brother in law, who is a computer fanatic.

  • i can't find the av2009 file please help!!

  • it is possible that all the files mentioned here may not be there. Delete anything else that you find suspicious. You can read the article at the top right corner to see detailed info

  • Thanks for your video, it helped alot...

  • thx for the vid and the accent ;)

  • This Antivirus thing really fucked me over with that fake security center, I thought it was a windows official thing. I deleted most of it but it still blocks websites, yet I can't find traces of it anywhere, and I can't download ccleaner without a Paypal account, and I can't system restore at any date before yesterday. Am I screwed?

  • - you need to disable/turn off system restore for the tiime being

-run a boot time scan using your antiviru software. If you do not have one, or if your AV is not good enough you can download/ install and run the Avast antivirus Free Home edition, select the "schedule a boot scan" during installation and restart the computer, it will remove most of the viruses.

  • hey i think i got a virus like that cuz now all my intenet pages r blocked

  • please read the article at the top right corner for latest updated info

  • Its cool now. After I finally got ccleaner I let it clear out everything. I rebooted and it was still there. So I rebooted again and everything was perfect. My computer doesn't even crash anymore. That ccleaner thing really works, thanks

  • Does ccleaner wipe out hard drive information? I have files, documents, photos, etc saved and am worried of it all getting deleted....will this occur when attempting to remove this virus? I am so upset about this virus :( :(

  • no ccleaner will not touch your files. it removes only temp files

  • thnx this helped alot!

  • Comment removed

  • you can find a video on this channel , look for spywareguard, or spywareguard2008, they are similar to spyguard2009

  • Dude, I installed Antivirus 2009 yesterday because it said I had a virus on my computer, I freaked out so I accepted xD After I realised it was a virus, I found some guide to delete it but there were just to much things to delete. The next day (today) I turned my computer on and my screen turned black xD it said I had to reset the PC with some sort of CD and I don't have that CD anymore! Can you help me?

  • dude it did that to me too

but the norton thing on my computer removed it right after i downloaded it..

  • Yeah, but I have AVG and it just scans your PC, so it isn't possible to remove it, but I'll bring it to the PC shop or something so, I don't have to worry... :P

  • I'm having an issue with Antivirus 2009, and I can't connect to the Internet. Is this because of the virus? and will doing the first two steps allow me to go back on to the internet to get the ccleaner?

  • Thanks for the help. Hopefully this virus will not come back.

  • Thank youuuuuuu very very much! Love you!

  • We had a really tough time getting this off my girlfriend's computer - it wouldn't show up in the running processes, now in the program folder.

We tried malwarebyte -no luck. Ended up using Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. We downloaded it from the Microsoft site. If srajure's great advice doesn't work for you, give it a try.

  • that is a useful hint. I will definitely advise using the windows malicious software removal tool

  • will ccleaner delete my pics and documents?

  • no, it won't

  • i can't find it on the task manager either

  • it is possible that the task manager is disabled. use a tool called UnHookExec(dot)inf from symantec

  • Gosh! You have just saved my life!

    Thanks dude!

And i agree with others, u rock! :))

  • DUDE I LOVE U U FIXED MY PC.

  • I was not able to find anything with antivirus 2009 that was shown at the beginning like my program files or in the task manager. anyone know why?

  • they may have been already removed, these rogue programs are known to morph, change their names quite often, so if your computer displays a visible infection, get your HijackThis log checked

  • Nice video!

Don't forget!! You will also need to disable System Restore otherwise you could just reinfect yourself. Disable it, clean your PC, and then re-enable it. Have fun!

  • you are very "kind" sorry

  • Thank you very much for help....This thing was a major pain, I couldn't figure out what was going on.....You are very kind to post this, and very kid to help so many people....

  • google HijackThis, you will get download links. TrendMicro owns that software now

  • When I do that alt+ctrl+del, thing and go to process, I can't find any antivirus2009 or av2009. Same thing when I tried find it in "my computer". So, what I will do?

  • i just did a system restart until before i dl'd

  • you need to turn off system restore whenever your computer is infected by a virus of this kind, as its files get added into the system restore backup automatically. You can turn it On after cleaning the computer

  • cold u please help me with something that's very similar to the antivirus 2009. Actually it's called "System Security" and it works exactly like Antivirus 2009. The "System Securtiy" installed itself in my computer and gives me pop ups of exagerated messages. I have Norton but it doesn't detect it as a bad thing. I can't find in in the control panel either. Can u help me remove this so called "System Security" that's a misleading application? It works just like Antivirus 2009.

  • ok im bored so ima just list it here :D

    1.open task mange alt-ctrl-delete

    2.go to process

3.find av2009 or antivirus 2009 (if u cant find it, its becAUSE ur prob not in the adminastrators account or ur parents or watever.

    4.terminate the program av2009

    5.go to my computer

6.open hp pavilion if ya hav hp (idk wat the file is called for other programmers soz but its there :))

    7. go to program files, if its not there then ur in the wrong file!

  • ..i went to the Task manager and looked for it but i didnt find it ....plz Help me ?it still Randomly pop up Antivirus every 5 minutes....so plz help

  • contact me on messengers listed on the channel homepage

  • Sadly I've been dealing with this brand of programs since winantivirus 2004 or 2006 (forget which) in which u think u are downloading a different program usually and end up getting that instead // I have a client computer I found out today that was infected // If I get time I'll make my own video in regards to it but I got to get FRAPS installed first

  • I love you!!!

  • This is exactly what i did but at the end i used my mcafee to clean

  • This was so much easier than running Malwarebyte's anti-malware

  • Does anyone know who is pushing this AV 2009 and where they might be found?

I would like to pay them a visit...

Somebody needs to get a severe ass beating.

  • after you open up my computer wat do u do i got lost

  • I cannot find the av2009 or antivirus 2009 in task manager. Is there anything else I can do to rid my laptop of this please help??

  • oh my god! thank you!!!

  • what is the task manager is disabled?

  • ccleaner does in fact ask you to buy the program when you try to fix/remove things

  • NO, never, you will never see such a thing in ccleaner. However they have a Donation button on their website, but nothing in the program itself. Please confirm that you have a real program and not some fake.

  • what i did was to use windows defender(included with windows vista) i scanned my system and windows defender detected the trojan horse, the date it entered, etc, then it automatically downloaded some definicions and the "windows maliciuos malware removal tool" then it automatically got rid of antivirus 2009, without wasting a penny buying antispyware software.try it out.

  • THIS WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you

  • Here was my problem, I got this virus surfing the net at work. on my work computer which I shouldnt be doing, theres a lot of things I shouldnt be doing, this is the least of my problems, anyways the internet provider at work blocks everything considered a rish including anti spyware programs. I was able to follow the video but the program in my computer was under the name YYY and the only program that I had success downloading is SUPERantispyware which is free. fixed the problem

  • I would love to try malwarebytes, but the problem is that the version antivirus 2009 I have prevents it from running after you install it. It also prevents Spybot S&D and Adaware from running!

  • if you were smart enough not to be tricked into downloading antivirus 2009 but you have the pre-virus that is trying to trick you (and making endless popups) download malwarebytes. its free, it found 25 files that mcafee didnt find and all within 2 minutes. the scan would have gone on a lot longer but it just started scanning the folders after the registry or whatever, so i just stopped it and deleted the 25 it found. PROBLEM SOLVED.

  • when i finished installing this AVG detected it, then i got a blue screen error message stright after and my computer wont run the windows start up screen, help!

  • antivirus 2009 deleted your WINDOWS folder...

  • dude...i think its time for you to call geek squad...AVG may have found and deleted the file but it was attatched to an important file so AVG deleted that. i called geek squad for help when a simialar problem happened to me

  • No, I know that, I meant I didn't find the file in processes. But pop ups stopped a few hours ago. I accidentally marked your comment as spam. Sorry. : /

  • Tried it. I did everything except the ctrl alt del because I didn't find it. Something just popped up though.

  • del is delete its found near the num lock above the left arrow

  • when ever i turn my compute back on those pop ups keep coming plz help!!

  • Oh Em GEE TYSM (:

  • thank you so much!
