I don't talk to girls because i never know when the girl might have an angry jealous asshole boyfriend who will start shit with me just because I'm simply talking to his girl. Yes some guys are so possessive that if another guy so much as says "Hi" to his girlfriend they'll react with extreme hostility. Thing is i've never been in a fight and i don't have any enemies and I'd like to keep i that way. It would be nice if girls had a sign on them that said either "im single" or "im taken"

There is an old saying in my country: you are received by your clothes but saw off by your wits (I hope I'm translating it right :D). Which means when you meet someone (sex doesn't matter), the first impression is a result of how you look and behave. The face-to-face conversations come later. And I totally agree with this guy about the challenge.

How do you talk to girls online? I've done it several times, and have had a lot of "shot downs". It's different cause there is no non-verbal. I would talk to girls in another fashion, ie bar, school, clubs, etc, but I just work at a job, and don't socialize much. I'm a social guy, but don't have the opportunities that many other young men do. I'm writing this question just having ended a convo with a girl I really liked, and she just signed off on me. this isnt the first time.
