Can anyone tell me why the introductions were happening when the match was going on? Or did anyone even notice?

I remember it being like that on the original vhs. Probably to edit it down to a 1 hour video. Notice alot of this match was cut out as well.

That makes sense as two hour wrestling programs didn't become standard till the 90s.

That's not Eric Bischoff doing ring anouncing, even though it does kind of sound like him. Bischoff didn't show up in the AWA until 1989-1990 & this is 1985.

This sounds nothing like Eric Bischoff. Bischoff debuted in 1987.

Bischoff began working for the AWA backstage in "sales" in 1987. Bischoff's lone 1987 TV appearance was dunking Larry Nelson into the dunk tank on New Year's Eve (on the 1st page of surefoot's other channel). Bischoff would not become a TV personality (i.e. announcer/interviewer) until after Larry Nelson was arrested for a DUI in 1989.

The reasons that this guy sounds somewhat like Bischoff are due to being from the same area of the country (accent) as well as being coached in the same style.
