Does this machine cut the leaves from the cane ?? Or it just cut the whole thing and leave it on the soil to be taken later to the mill step ?

I build the new Deere harvesters in thibodaux. they are great machines. come in weels or track styles. also many options depending on customer needs.

1st time am watching this cameco machine working... usually i watch the cane harvester live in sugar cane fields in mauritius, the one that cut and load on tractor... Great clip! Frm Mauritius

Looks like this does much taller and stronger stalks than the Broussard or John Deere 3510. It is important to also let people know the cane variety suitable for each type of 'harvester' or 'cutter'. Otherwise one could end up with the wrong machine.

this machine is not a harvester it is just a cutter. And it's not made by cameco either.

To call it a harvester or not I guess is a matter of opinion, but it is definatly made by Cameco. You can clearly see the name on the machine in the video.
