i've cleared 12'4" with my 13'6" reefer take it easy but i am sure thehy don't all clear but i know where a few do. You should see the looks I get of panic and fear especially when i give them the thumbs up as i roll on through at 35 /40 mph (One is near the queens expressway /25A ). Some will even slam on the brakes and wait t'ill i clear before they start moving again
@MrGrit33 Thats funny as hell. Sittin' here picturing you smiling, flying by with the thumb up to the window, not even looking at the bridge.
I went under a 14' 7" railroad bridge with a 15' 7" load, went real slow, on the wrong side of the road. I like the escort loads, they set the pole and get out ahead, just watch the tip of the pole and street lights, gotta dodge them, and then roll. Now that I think of it, I should of had an escort on that load, oops!!!
thats almost tighter than birth lmao

N.Y. always marks their bridges 1 foot lower then they really are, so if you see a bridge marked 12'6" you can get through with a 13"6" clearance
