this is one of the realest kids shows ever, if not the realest. I can't name another kids show that had the ammount of blood & death than this. Taught me very quickly as a kid that life isn't all rainbows & sunshine.

Does anybody remember the magazine that went with this? When I was a kid my Mum used to order it from the Newsagents for me she would collect it each fortnight (think that was how often it came out) - she told me years later that she hated asking for it as she was always afraid she would say "Farting Wood" instead of "Farthing". lol

White Deer Park is an animal sanctuary. The blue foxes were offended that common red foxes would dare enter the park. And then they (well, Scarface) started killing farthing wood animals to spite fox. Scarface was the name of the top fox, and his wife was Lady Blue. There were others, I know Adder killed his son, but I can't remember his name.

A similair thing happened between the common Grey Squirrels of Farthing Wood and the Red Squirrels of White Deer Park. The funny thing was the reds had the numbers advantage!

It was an amazing kids' TV show from the early '90s, based on a book about the journey of a group of animals from their flattened wood to a new home, and then the adventures they had once they got there. Loved it!
