Words can not explain the love, and nostalgia i have for this game. I got the dreamcast on 9/9/1999 which i believe was a thursday if i can remember correctly. I remember christmas morning, seeing the special edition Shenmue sitting there, and thinking to myself "what the fuck is that." little did i know that the game would take up hours upon hours of my time for the next few weeks i fell in love with this game immediately i have watched your full lets play of this and 2 many times duck. cheers!

And obviously they have that cute little innocence that every child has!

Did SEGA not get a tad bit pissed at Yu Suzuki after the game did not meet consumer expectations. I love it, but many people did not enjoy the whole FREE game play type. The man has done a lot of good.

I loved how, later in the game, you start seeing Fuku-san come into the Yokosuka bar and flirting with a girl. You can keep coming back and see his and her relationship develop--some days they'll be apart because they had a fight, or one or the other will disagree. Lol. The little touches like that are what make this game special.

It's probably the other way around, needing an awesome PC to emulate a Dreamcast. And I assume the emulation will be just as tedious and, well, broken as PS2 and GC emulation - only a few games work completely, and at a full 60fps.
you can go on ebay & buy it if you still have your dreamcast.if not get another one. Or you can download the cdi's of all 3 disks,burn them on to 3 seperate disks,& use them on your dreamcast or an emulator
You can actually call the police in the game via phone. when you do that Ryo ends up saying that he doesn't want the police invlolved and he'll get revenge by himself.

Unless you get an awesome Dreamcast emulator running on your PC, the only other way to play this game is to get a Dreamcast.
