I will say that I am confused as to the open handed double outer forearm block toward the end of the form. He uses the same chamber on both sides right hand in back and the left hand in front.
Shadow, I was responding to BIGA1123 who did not understand the Physics in the Kicks with HIS comment previous, "your kicks ought to actually hit the target". I have read both Volumes of Grand Masters Auto biography and dont recall the name of Mr Morningstar. It may well be there. its a Long read. I Respect my seniors and have taken an oath to . I teach ITF and have done so in Korea for a short time. sorry for offence. I have only been training for 11 years . Its all about self control.peace.
ALL the kicks do hit the targets, some of the kicks are for an opponent on the 45 degree angle as all Tul are in fact a pre arranged sequence of combat with one or more attackers. In this vid the Sabaum needs more sine wave and snap and timing control.
@ultrasonika9 first off you should show some respect for the person you are talking about. You must really not know anything about Tae Kwon Do if you do not know who that is. Or maybe you just don't care. That is Mr. Michael Morningstar who at that time was personal assistant to General Choi Hong Hi. He has also had 3 gold medals at world championships. So before you start running your mouth about what you know maybe you should actually learn some Tae Kwon Do.
@Shadowkin234 With utmost respect to Mr. Morningstar just because you may not know who he is doesn't directly relate to what someone may or may not know about the study or application of Taekwondo. for those who want to critic his performance it is my understanding that Gen Choi was present for the filming and if he was dissatisfied or felt his performance was incorrect I would speculate that he would not have allowed it to be used.
