Cessna! I have a question! On whatever aircraft (addon or default) I use in FSX (or FS9) in Failures, there is no option to fail the nose gear. Sometimes there is landing gear #1 #2 etc... and when I click replay it glitches

im very impressed in the landing you did as well, especially for this type of scenario. This landing would NOT be possible in real life. The 757 likes to get its nose down very quickly, it is not possible to hold it up like you did here.

Steve! I have an idea for a "Runway in Sight" video. It's based on an 'emergency' I had to contend with in the sim while I was getting my ME rating: CYYC, 5mi visibility in light snow, overcast skies at 5,200MSL on the ILS runway 34 in a BE58 Baron. Right engine quits at 2,500 feet AGL, then left engine quits at 200 feet AGL.

Hasn't happened to me in real life (yet), and I nearly stalled when flaring, but at least I got the 'plane' in the sim on the ground...

Can you do a landing at Lukla Airport in Nepal? It was rated the most extreme airport on the History Channel. It has a very short runway, and no way that you could perform a go-around.  there is a large cliff on one side and a large mountain on the other. Thanks

I've never had trouble before with gear failure videos, engine fires, or other situations, but you do bring up an interesting point.

I've never heard of a FS video getting pulled by an airline...

Another excellent video! You have great skill in piloting ! One question though , why weren't you using reverse thrusters on landing ; only flaps with spoilers ?

@dsadwarf Thanks for the compliment.

There are 2 reasons why reverse thrust was not used. First, it was technically not possible to activate the reverse thrust during this scenario.  I believe the sim requires all wheels to be on the runway to activate the reverse thrust.

Second, I found some info / data online that stated if reverse thrust was used, there is a possibility that the nose of the aircraft could slam into the runway due to the more rapid deceleration.

I am trying to get a new video up 3-4 times a week - typically on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

I try my best to upload frequently, but I'm sure you guys can understand the commitments I have with my college studies.

I've been dying to ask you if you're interested in X-Plane 10. Me being a Mac user knows that the only major flight simulator is X-Plane (Although FlightGear is a good, free alternative). Considering that X-Plane has always had a more realistic flight model, the new version is going to improve on the already decent graphics of X-Plane 9.
