  • And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?

    Judges 2:2

  • All of us Buckeyes fans welcome you Nebraska to the Big 10. We think you are a super class act and a perfect addition to the conference. Looking forward to many years of great football games.

  • Can NU win the Big 10 in the first year? Of course they can. The major disadvantage is that while the other teams get one wild card, our entire schedule is a wild-card. Nebraska will be playing some legacies as great as thier own and I don't see blow-outs either way. Not when one thinks about Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin and others. The Golden Gophers have a legacy as big as Nebraska's, believe it or not. I give the Big 10 respect, it is NOT the weak teams others want you to believe.

  • I'm so looking forward to the Big Ten welcoming Nebraska with open arms and a big hug.

  • Yahoo!!!!! Going to the real BIG Twelve and leaving the real Big Ten, after it's all said and done. Ha!!! Texas can have all the balls it wants. Too bad their carriage turned into a pumpkin this year. Let's see how much longer with everyone left in the so-called Big Twelve, will keep putting up with the Texas royalty and their rules.

  • Wow talk about murderer's row.. our schedule next year is going to be tough! I'm excited to see how we'll do though, the style of D that we play now doesnt quite match up to smash-mouth football. We're going have to add a linebacker and take out a D-back to match up with a team like Wisconsin. Our offense should do well, I think we have just as much if not more speed on O than anyone else in the Big 10

  • @frEAkofNatre

Not sure if they are faster overall on offense than Michigan. Martinez is fast but not Denard Robinson fast. Robinson has that Florida speed thats hard to beat. And the OL are definitely faster than Nebraska. Definitely smaller too----LOL. Thats just part of Rich Rods scheme.

  • And dont dispute my Buckeyes speed on offense with Pryor. Halou looks fast but dont doubt Boom Herrons speed. Im beginning to realize Boom Herron might be better than I thought he was. Im still waiting for the next big back Beanie Wells type for the Buckeyes again though. Hopefully Roderick Smith ('09 recruit) becomes the next Beanie or Eddie George.

  • @frEAkofNatre

We'll see if joining the Big 10 affects the Huskers ability to get some Texas or Cali speed guys

  • I like this idea. It will make things a little more competitive. Instead of Ohio State running the table every year, the Huskers will add some flavor. Toss Indiana, Minnesota and Purdue to the MAC please.

  • They seem like they're in love with the BIG X teams. I just can't wait until the honeymoon stage is over and they realize they've become the red headed step child of Ohio State, just like they were to Texas.

  • @Luftwaffels bring it on ohio state. TMarts gonna be healthy this year, better get your D running now.

  • Respond to this video... Brother, I hate to be the one to bring you down or tackle your hopes, but OSU vs UM will always be THE GAME. There are none higher, and in most states, all regard this game as the greatest in sports. Nebraska makes nothing special and they have BEEN playing Iowa, so nothing special there either. The only thing that will change, is OSU, Iowa, And Wisky will join Penn State, as four more really tough games on Nebraska's schedule, lol. It'll take a few years 2 adjust

  • sweet! Nebraska fans seem pretty cool. Good to have ya on board!

  • Nebraska is not used to Big Ten style football, but Ohio State will help them adjust!

  • @buckeyechad1974 LMAO!

  • Honestly, when is the last time Nebraska has won a BIG game? 2001 vs Oklahoma? That is the last time they've beaten a team ranked in the Top 15.

  • @TheHawkeyeHistorian True, we have struggled beating top 15 teams but some of the blame was on Bill Callahan's inept play calling. If he called better plays we would have won some. Everybody has down years even Iowa but if you look at the last ten years Nebraska has a 84-44 record which would placed them 3rd in the Big Ten behind only Wisconsin and Ohio State.

  • we will dominate.

  • @viperlock that would be good for fans of Iowa and Nebraska. but nothing touches UM vs. OSU. anyways I've been a bit suprised (not really) that some Nebraska fans think that UNL is gonna roll into the big ten and run the show... look at PSU. Came into the league in 1993, I believe they won 3 conference titles since then. believe me there aren't any 56-31 games in the big ten. game day is crazy everywhere, campuses are ridiculously huge, and fans are just as passionate as UNL fans (even illinois)

  • @VIPERLOCK lol we fumbled the ball INTO THE ENDZONE like 5 times. That wont happen again. IA state had a hand of luck dealt to them. Looking foward TREMENDOUSLY to the Hawkeye-Husker rivalry to further develop!

  • @VIPERLOCK Oh, man did you have to bring up the Iowa State game, lol? I think we will beat them this year in Ames and looking forward to playing Iowa for many years to come. I have a Hawkeye fan in my family and fall Saturdays will be very interesting for the Nebraska-Iowa games.
