How did you all get away with that. Wasn't it illegal to run a model airplain in downtown Detroit? Loved it.

@unionlanding I checked into that and there are no laws against flying an RC plane in Detroit. I only use a light-weight pusher prop RC plane that hits with the force of about a wiffle baseball. Glad you liked it. At the time they weren't allowing anyone in the stadium and I wanted to video it before they demolished it.

Very entertaining aerial trip to a historic place that will, tragically, no longer exist very soon. I was only at Tiger Stadium in person once, in 2004, and I always thought I would have another chance to see it again before it came down. Thank you for sharing the experience!

You gotta admit, the place is an eyesore. The sooner it comes down, the better. Why is everybody crying about this old dump. Not enough safe parking, bathroom facilities that were a joke, plastic crummy seats...the list goes on. Bring it down, and laugh at the stupid people that say "save Tiger stadium". Save it for what????

In 05 i broke into that place and filmed the whole thing but im scared to put it on youtube plus the video is like 2 hours long but i could divide it into areas tell me if people want me to put it on

Thank you for that video. You should go to Dealey Plaza in Dallas, where JFK was shot, and do the same flyover. You could charge a fee for high-quality stills. I'm sure many people wouldn't mind paying for it, in order to fund your trip costs down there. You could do a DC/White House flyover, hey? Or, is that a violation of its air space? Thanks again.

he took it about 11 months ago.

It's so sad to see Tiger STadium just sit there and slowly rot since it closed 8 years ago. It's probably getting tore down in 2008.
