yes that was my thoughs exactly. Its so ironic that history is repeating iself all over again and we are now facing almost the exact same problems again with the war in iraq, recession and global warming like you said. Its pretty scary though becasue unlike the 80s this rescession is a global problem its not just localised to some countries back then the other countries helped eachother to pull through now everyone is affected and there is no one big country to help dig us out.

I am just now watching the whole series of bit of Fry and Laurie and I'm amazed that this series has not been broadcasted more. It's obviously the culmination of talent, anarchy, creativity, drive and self confidence.

These two can never re-create what they did in those 4 seasons so since I know they have talked about working together again I would advice them not to try and re-do this particular series as it's not possible.
