I don't like the idea of multiplayer in Mass effect either,and personally I think they should have stuck with the original formula like the first game instead of turning it into a fast paced action game,but I suppose that's where the money is,however I very much doubt ME 3 will be as good as M E 1,but we shall see.
The fact that NO Me2 exclusive characters are not returning as squadmates. Kind of has me worried and a little bit dissapounted but I know Mass Effect 3 will be great.
I was thinking about it... maybe the new comics for garrus would be about his old squad. I mean he tells you what they were when you ask him but he never goes into detail about the things they did. And two years is long time to have a story play out.

What happens if you royally screwed up mass effect 2 and killed everyone except Jacob and Miranda for example.. OR My main question is what would happen if you chose the Cerberus side (red planet at the end) would the illusive man and Cerberus still be the 'enemy' in mass effect 3?
@LustOrigins I'm not sure what happens in that situation...all I know is that there is some kind of special opening if your shepard dies in ME2. As for your 2nd question, Cerberus will still be the enemy in ME3, regardless of what you do.
I wonder if characters that you didn't romance in the trilogy could find romance elsewhere for example Tali and Reiger or Jacob and Miranda maybe Liara and Therum

@tinytimmee51 NOVELS: Revelation, Ascension, Retribution, Deception. COMICS IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER: Evolution, Incursion (online mini), Redemption, Inquisition (online mini), Invasion, Conviction (online mini). I'm pretty sure that's how the comics go chronologically. And the "online minis" those were only released online so you can just google them and read them w/out having to buy them. Kind of sucks though, I'd like to have the hard copy of all of them :/ Hope that helped :)

@CmderSwords My main shepard is in the middle. He does what feels right at a given moment. He's slightly more paragon but both bars are pretty equal. As for my other shepards, I have one that is strictly renegade, and another one that is strictly paragon. I have the most fun with my main shep though. Decisions feel more natural with him.
@gamermd83 fights against him should be fun from the description he killed a couple krogans with a knife and hes a super martial artist of some sort. love that sheperds a boxer btw favorite sport. heard fem shep might do some kind of kung fu against vega in the sparring scene any truth to that?
I can't wait to play multi-player with my friends who are also ME fans. The single player story with all my various Sheps will be my priority but I am geeking out for ME multi-player. Thankfully it's co-op which I can get behind pretty easily as I've never been a shooter fan...
I dont mind ME3 having MP, I just wish it didn't feel like other MPs. Assassins Creed did it right and created a completely original Multi Player experience, but this feels more like Gears of War or something. Basically, I feel like Ive seen it before.
@s8ntmark Other than the over the shoulder shooting, cover system, and horde mode that's about where the similarities between GoW and ME end. I think the powers alone offer something completely new since all you have in GoW is a gun and the ability to buy upgrades in the form of perks, fences, and turrets.
Is it just me but alot of the times when I set foot on a planet as Shepard I feel like Colonel O'neill from Stargate SG-1. Just the remarks he sometimes makes and the harsh treatment to 'creatures' that did other ppl wrong... ( Sry I am a big fan of Stargate aswell maybe it's just my mind combining two of my favorite things and make it wishfull thinking xD)

I've read the 50 page excerpt they have out and it was quite bad. I might pick it up still as regardless of errors it will offer insight into ME3.

@EmotionalyRawwr As a New Mass Effect fan ( from last year :P) I can say that if you are into RPG's this is a must play. The story just grips you from the start and keeps you wanting to play more and more. I would seriously recommend to buy the first one aswell as the second one if you want to give this a try. First one is graphic wise not that great seeing it's from 2007 but it makes you understand alot as I recently discovered.

I've read the Halo series and the book he wrote "The Flood" was by far the worst of the bunch. It was like reading the script of Halo CE. So boring. I really hope that doesn't happen to the ME novel.

I was doing some research regarding Demo LPs and how they're pretty iffy on Youtube because of copywrite issues and because the game isn't out yet. So, don't take it personally.
