a paki is a british slang term for an asian person, excluding those of oriental origin. in other words muslims and people from places like india etc. its short for pakistani. it is considered 'racist', and at the very least politicaly unacceptable, although it is very often used by people who arnt racist at all and just less enlightened about the fact that ethnic minorites are offended by it.

well yes and no.apart from black people calling themselves nigger,its usualy an an insult.so if someone says nigger,you can asume they dont like black people.paki is used as an insult too by racists,but its also used inocently by people who havnt got anything against asians and are just not so aware that it causes offence.usually these are from the older generations becuase in thier day it was just an acceptable abreviation. so if someone says it it doesnt neccesarily mean they dont like asians

No that is not my arguement. You overlook some important details in these interviews and dont take musicians as seriously as you should...By mentioning Aroma Spice like 10 times in an interview he is actually advertising them. Can you imagine this establishment got free advertisement and fans now know that he is esting from there! That is actually a way of advertsing Indian culture in the UK. Therefore, he would not turn around and say Paki. The word paki doesnt even sound like a Liam-ish word!

I dont just see the words they are saying you have to read in between the lines and look at the bigger picture sometimes to understand what they're saying. I dont see in this interview Liam saying paki but but if you hear paki then I cant exactly tell u nt to hear it. All the media never wrote anything about a racial slur a bit strange dont u think?
